Just curious to know what everyone's opinion is. The front of my hood has a zillion little paint chips on it and I gues I have the option to get a CF hood or just have it painted. What does everyone think, would a CF hood look good on a lava, or would it be too halloweenish?

I think that the CF looks very sharp on the lavas and indeed when my hood gets bad enough I will probably replace it with maybe that red carbon fiber that looks orange if they have it or just go with the regular CF.

i really like how it looks. i would love to get one, but don't have the money yet

i've been contemplating putting a carbon fiber hood on my hot lava, but i've always been skeptical...hoods that i've seen on other cars never fit exactly the way they're supposed to, with gaps larger than they should be or they end up crooked...Has everyone had good luck with putting these aftermarket hoods on their xBs?? Any brand you would recommend?

It's just my own opinion (and the opposite of most apparently), but personally, carbon hoods on anything but a black car makes the vehicle looks like it's in the middle of being fixed and waiting it's turn in the paint booth.

No offense to those who like them of course, there are people out there who could pick mine apart with things they don't like. To each their own I suppose.

Carbon fiber looks awesome on a LAVA!! To accent it, do other things in fiber also so that its not so dramatic........ otherwise, you have my vote!!
