you should see the back/inside of it. it's all flat and even, and i bet he's had his paint finished up on there by now. i heard he was having frankenscion airbrushed on it.

it's really slick, he took first at s3 2006 my own "big" car show this year, and that hood was alot of it!

BJJ is awesome!!! I've done a few different forms of martial arts over the years and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu certainly is one of my favorites. ...also done some small-circle Jiu-Jitsu, which is more standing-oriented rather than ground fighting. It was pretty cool, too.
Just out of curiosity, the big rumor with Muay Thai is the repetitive kicking of very solid objects (rope-wrapped posts, cement, etc.) to strengthen the shins and legs. How true is this, or is it more movie-based BS? I know in BJJ we played Knock-Bone (take-down practice) on the concrete which hurt like a b#$%@, I couldn't imagine repetitively striking a post at full tilt. Ouch!

My uncle use to kick my butt all the time back in the day lol... he was trained by Pat Miletich thats when i started to get into martial arts. he got me in to tae kwon do first, after two years of that boring shyt i joined a gym and started to learn kickboxing and boxing..

and for the question about conditioning our shins at our gym we kick a special bag full of sand.. it hurt like hell at first it felt like kicking a bag of bricks...i bled alot...haha

TKD does get repetitive. So did Karate. I did Shorin Ryu and Shen Nigiri Karate for a few years, but when it got boring and was no longer any fun, I stopped going. Aikido was pretty fun for the short time I got to do it. The instructor had me assisting with the women's self defense class, which really showed the true power of Aikido. TKD and Karate were very power-oriented, i.e. the strong survive. But Aikido was control. The same can be said for BJJ, although strength does have tremendous advantages in BJJ as well.
As a competitive kickboxer, are you thinking of broadening your training and going to something like UFC? Dude, that would be really cool!

I'd love to get into ufc but i really need to work on my boxing... because when people get on the inside of me im almost useless...body shots to my chest hurt lol... im not a stocky guy...i cant take alot of shots to the body..its weird cause i can take punches and kicks to the face but its the body shots that kill me. I only have an advantage if its a thai fight and i'm fighting someone who likes to box and work his way inside fighters.. i'll let them come in for a few shots then clinch and work his chest with my knees.

Being a Defensive Enforcer for most of my life in hockey I will just stick to fighting on skates! I can say though pulling the guys shirt over his head during a bar fight and pummeling is a blast!

Try some grappling. When someone works inside and goes for body shots, clinch them in, lock their arms to the outside, swing your leg to the outside of theirs, bringing your foot back between their legs. Lean your weight over that leg and forward, pulling your leg on that side inward. This will push their weight and yours onto one leg. You can buckle that leg at any time just by pulling it inward with yours. They will drop to the ground on their back or side with you in a half-guard position. From this position, you can go for your choice of submissions.
