I'm thinking of getting a triple pillar pod gauge set-up and was curious what everyone had in their XB's and why?

I was looking at the regular Volts, oil pressure, Water Temp

but was just curious if anyone had better recommendations and their thoughts on it

I'm not running NOS and do not have a turbo or supercharged engine.

Are you dead set on having pillar gauges? The ScanGauge gives you oh so much more information, including lots of stuff that gauges out there cannot or do not display.

I want a triple pillar pod as well, but I plan to use it for switches instead of guages I might put a volt guage in one pod

 

I'd like to run a nice outside tempature gauge in one...

 

if I was running NOS or a turbo or super charger then I'd be into the electronic one...but I really like the look of the pillar gauges...

here you go i did a write up on putting in volt, water and oil gauge so when you are ready this should help i also wanted toi go the apiller way but desided i like this better

I ended up with water temp only, thats what I only need, don't like those blue and red light.

 

holy cow that looks great looks better then mine atleast if i only had one gauge mad props

but as of right now, i just have the voltage gauge, will be getting oil temp soon and havent decided on the last one.

on a n/a box, you *do not* need water temp or oil pressure, go with oil temp, way more uselful on a n/a

 

sorry im a noob but why would you need the oil temp gauge?

 

If I can get my pic on this post here is my set up on the piller I have boost,egt and volt, On the panel nest to speedo. doesn't the glow shift bolt on with dumb little push pins? I think he is looking for a pillar replacement with pods. As I am also.

 

Actually the glowshift screws into the factory pillar cover but mine was put in place of the factory one by ZPI
