cliffud 12-10-2006, 12:28 PM Hey All,
We have changed the business a bit and only sell farming equipment now. Please check out xenondepot.com for your lighting needs in the future. They're based out of Toronto, Canada but they ship pretty quick.
Thanks!
cliffud 12-12-2006, 02:41 AM bump... nobody's interested?

Just to be clear...
A wire harness with a relay and fuse ARE INCLUDED!
rockbrawler884 12-13-2006, 06:15 AM This kit looks striking similar to the Kingwood HID Kit I have!
cliffud 12-13-2006, 07:22 AM Funny you should mention that, my supplier produces ballasts for other companies as well. That being said, they very well could be the same brand, I just get them before the stickers are put on. ;)

I don't think any false information was provided, it merely mentioned that the other kits do not come with a separate wiring harness, thus using the stock harness to draw there power.
Plus it's easier to change a fuse if it's located on the harness than opening up the ballast and voiding the warranty.

Your relay is built into the ballast? Maybe you could explain to me how that would draw power directly from the battery if it is still using the factory lighting harnesses? I think maybe you mean the fuse is built into the ballast, or a shutoff protection system, but I see no way you could build the relay, which hooks up to the battery directly, into the ballast. Please clarify if I'm incorrect.

Xblozv 12-15-2006, 03:31 AM had some on my civic and i lost the use of the hi beams. will i lose the use of them with this kit as well?
cliffud 12-15-2006, 03:38 AM nope.
I had some other kits in stock several weeks ago where you would have lost use of your high beams but I ordered new kits since then that allow you to use your high beams.
MisterKe 12-15-2006, 05:28 AM Thanks for the PM, I'll talk it over with the wife and hopefully you will be getting an order from me.
cliffud 12-15-2006, 02:32 PM Thanks for all the PM's everyone.
I've responded to everyone and I want to answer a few of the questions for everyone just in case some of you were wondering but didn't pm me.
1) The price includes EVERYTHING (wiring harness w/relay and fuse included). $170 flat.
The wiring harness is only for people who have purchased inferior HID kits on the market (HID Cool, Klight, TechOne, and Goldeneye) since they do NOT include a separate wiring harness that allows the ballasts to pull power directly from the battery.
2) The price is only for domestic purchases only. If you are interested and you are in Canada or further, the shipping cost will significantly be different and the price will need to be adjusted accordingly. Either way- it's still a great price for a HID conversion kit. :)
3) The H4 is the same as the 9003 bulb and yes, they come with light shields and have 2 bulbs built into one so you will not lose your high beam functionality.
4) If you are interested in the brightest bulbs for the most visibility, go with the 4300k kit. The 4300k bulbs emit 3 times the visible light than your halogen bulbs. The 6k bulbs almost offer the same output as the 4300k but suffer from a 12% loss of visible light due to the slight blue tint. The 8k bulbs are bright but the light emitted is only 80% that of 4300k bulbs.
5) I personally will warranty the kit for 1 year. If the bulbs or ballasts fail, then send them back and I will send you out a new one of the same type. Meaning if you bought a 4300k bulb, you'll get a 4300k bulb back. Now of course, if you are playing hot potato with the HID bulb and getting oil from your skin all over the bulbs, they will turn dark and shatter. In this instance, I can't warranty the bulbs due to abuse and for the same reason I can't warranty them if you're using them as a door stop. :)
Thanks!
Clifford
cliffud 12-16-2006, 11:53 AM 8k bulbs are running out fast... get them now if you were thinking about buying a kit in the near future.
$170 shipped or picked up!
Xblozv 12-16-2006, 03:47 PM what color shade are the 4300k??
rockbrawler884 12-16-2006, 09:31 PM what color shade are the 4300k??
They are pure white!
Blacktop-Xb 12-16-2006, 10:22 PM Are your hids the same as kingwood because the ballast,bulbs,hi/low,and color comparison are the same please lmk....thanks
cliffud 12-17-2006, 02:07 AM hey blacktop xb - after doing a search and comparing photos, I believe they are the same.
Blacktop-Xb 12-17-2006, 02:11 AM Thanks for the reply because i am confused on what colr because my friend has 12k from kingwood same type everything and compared to online kits of kingwood and yours it is the same but his 12k is bright deep blue so is your 10k a little blue and your 6k light blue because it should be the same as yours.......Because most 12k are purple.......
cliffud 12-17-2006, 02:42 AM i don't actually sell anything over 8k because they're too dark and the HID bulbs aren't really useful when they're so dark.
i'm not quite sure which color temp chart you saw. but in your PM - if you want a tint of blue - go with the 6k. they're the brightest possible while still getting that tint of blue.
hi....is the hid h4 is bixenon or only the low beam is xenon and the high beam is regular halogen ?.....thank's
cliffud 12-17-2006, 03:50 PM Good question Ong.
I actually have two kinds of H4 kits. One has a single HID bulb that is entirely plug/play while the other is a single HID bulb AND a clear halogen bulb built into one unit which has extra wires and spade connectors to hook up into your factory plug to power the high beam halogen.
dugzilla 12-17-2006, 06:19 PM Paypal sent for the 4300k xb kit!!
phoenixtc 12-17-2006, 10:16 PM For those of you interested in this kit I would highly recommend it. I picked mine up yesterday and it took me about 30 minutes to install. Here are some pics of before and after and of the product itself. I even have my front headlights smoked and the light output is still awesome. I went for the 8000K kit. These pics were taken in my garage. I have yet been able to see how they look at night, but I am sure they are perfect.

cliffud 12-18-2006, 01:28 AM FYI: 9006 8000k bulbs (kit for the tC) are sold out. 4300k and 6k colors are still available. For the 9006 bulbs, I still have 6kand 4300k kits in stock.
Hi NMxBPB-
Here's a photo that should help some. The top left is a 6k bulb (slight tint of blue), the top right is an 8k bulb (definitely looks blue - not a dark blue but definitely blue), and the bottom bulbs are 4300k (factory HID white)
http://mobilehid.com/mixbulbs2.jpg
soooo....is the bixenon price the same ?.....170 ??....thank's
cliffud 12-18-2006, 04:02 AM The dual bulb setup is the same price but it is not a dual xenon setup. There is one HID bulb that functions as
the low beam and a halogen bulb that functions as the high beam. The kit comes with special metal spades to help hook the high beam halogen bulbs to the high beam switch on the plugs if high beam functionality is needed.
808scion 12-18-2006, 04:28 AM i have anzo projectors for my xb. i believe they use H3 bulbs. do you have the 4300k or 6000k in stock, and how much would shipping be to hawaii 96701???

Yep, I have the H3 in stock for either 4300k or 6000k. Shipping is only a few bucks more so don't worry about it man, I'll cover it. The price is still $170 flat.

phoenixtc 12-18-2006, 07:50 AM What number K is your luminics??
I was running the Titanium white bulbs. Their web site says 5500K. Nice bulbs, but the HID's are so much better!

808scion 12-18-2006, 06:03 PM sounds good. still unsure which k i should go with. i did some research, and some say 6000k is crystal white, and that 4300 is pure white with a hint of yellow. I am looking for a kit that is crystal white. i dont want a kit that has a hint of yellow or a hint of blue. what would be the best K 6000k or 4300k

I'm thinking you want 4300k because it will be a very pure white. No blue, no yellow, just white.
cliffud 12-18-2006, 11:28 PM FYI: I shipped out all the weekend orders today. Your wire harnesses, kits, bulbs, etc... will all arrive in the next few days.
Also,
Just wanted to give you guys a heads up. I've only installed single bulb H4 kits before so I checked out how these H4 hi/low kits worked and found that they have to be modified in order for them to work with the included wiring harness. You can of course use them without the wiring harness but that's not really the best way to wire up one an HID kit.
Since a handful of you guys purchased these H4 kits under the impression they were entirely plug and play, I did the modifications for you.
When you get your kit, you'll notice one of the bulbs labeled with a "P". That bulb has been modified to be the passenger bulb. It will have a plug that goes into your stock harness plug so your hi beams will work.
The other bulb (driver's side) will have a bare black wire sticking out of it and another black wire with a spade connector at the end. These have to be connected to the wiring harness in order for your high beams to work on the driver's side of the vehicle.
If this doesn't make sense now, it will when you get the kit. I'll post a write up in the next two days.
Thanks all.
Clifford
dugzilla 12-19-2006, 12:07 AM can't wait to get mine, thanks for the quick replys Clifford!!
MisterKe 12-19-2006, 05:36 AM Can't wait til I have enough to go ahead and get two of these. Man the wifey is gonna be thrilled. Stock Honda Prelude headlights blow.
BUMP for a bad asphult deal.
Doanrs 12-19-2006, 02:17 PM Ordered a set for me and a set for the wife as well!!!
cliffud 12-19-2006, 11:02 PM Doanrs - I shipped out your kits today.
The 6k 9006 kits are going quick.
If any of you are Nissan owners, I still have many 9004 kits.
808scion 12-20-2006, 03:40 PM I shall be placing my order shortly. i was jus wondering, do you really need to hook up the Hi beams. and will you be wiring each purchase for the Hi beam install
cliffud 12-20-2006, 03:55 PM Great questions man.
If you don't want the high beam version of the kit, I can certainly just send out the single low beam kit. The light emitted will be 3 times brighter if you get the 4300k and I personally haven't used my high beams that often after installing the HID bulbs.
About the custom wiring needed to use the wiring harness. Yes, I will continue to do the custom wiring for each H4/9003 kit purchased until January 12. I took some VERY detailed photos and will have a link up for a tutorial by the end of the day today.
Here is one of the shots. For the hi/low H4/9003 kits, all you'll need to do is crimp a butt connector (not pictured) to connect the grounds and insert the positive terminal for the high beam bulb. I am making sure the rest of the kit is plug and play.
http://mobilehid.com/h4/bh411.jpg
The hi/low kits are selling quick but I will have a new shipment in early Jan. I still have quite a few of the single low beam kits in stock.
Thanks and lemme know if you have any more questions.
:)

cliffud 12-21-2006, 06:47 AM Hey everyone, I created the H4 wiring harness write up.
Please click here to view:
http://mobilehid.com/h4.htm
cliffud 12-22-2006, 05:22 AM FYI: I called USPS to see what the hold up is since the packages mailed on Monday should have arrived at the latest- today. They said they've been swamped with xmas shipments so please hang tight.
All packages were mailed with "Delivery Confirmation" so I checked through the list of packages I sent off on Monday and Tuesday and only a couple have been delivered, hopefully they'll arrive on Friday or Saturday.
Thanks everyone for your orders. Just a reminder, this special wholesale price continues until January 12.
datboiant 12-22-2006, 05:43 PM what type of ballast is it?
808scion 12-22-2006, 06:35 PM ok ready to order mine. do you have any H3 4300k bulbs in stock still. i saw your write on the H4 hi/low beam install. do the H3 come hi/low beams as well???
cliffud 12-22-2006, 07:37 PM The ballast is your standard 35watt, 12volt ballast.
We've had some interest in 50 watt ballasts and projector retrofit kits so we may offer those soon.
I'll keep you all posted when we decide to offer them.
808Scion - I'll have to double check on the 4300k H3 kits. I know we only had a few left but I'll keep you posted.
Thanks all for the interest and orders.
Bossman 12-23-2006, 05:34 AM $170 shipped for the kit including the harness?....Do you have 3000k or 3500k kit?
cliffud 12-23-2006, 06:23 AM I only have 3500k bulbs in the 9006 kits. I read your signature and if you have the fogs, the 9006 kit will actually fit in your factory fog light housing. But that's the DOT fog light housing.
Do you know if your JDM housing also fits 9006?
Also, for those of you who are running other kits that do not provide a wiring harness, you may have noticed some flickering issues when your bulbs fire up or notice that your lights sometimes do not even fire up at all sometimes. What you need is a wiring harness that connects your battery directly to your ballasts, I have 9006 and H4 wiring harnesses for sale. The wiring harness includes a relay to turn on the HID bulbs and a fuse wired inline.
Please visit http://www.mobilehid.com/scionlife.htm to purchase the appropriate wiring harness for your HID kit.

did anybody have a halo projector headlight (please look at my profile) using this kit ?....what type of light bulb kit you used ??.....and does the high beam still can be function ???? thank's...... please attach pics if possible.... I want to get one of the HID kit too....but not sure what type of kit is the right one.......thank's again
cliffud 12-26-2006, 11:03 PM Just wanted to let you all know that I checked the shipment of all kits sent out last week and they all have arrived except for one to Florida. That should arrive in the next day or two. (Sorry BlackTop - shipping during the holidays sucks.)
Ong - it's pretty difficult to tell which bulb type you need by simply looking at the housing but if you simply replaced your headlight housing to the projector style and kept the same bulb type, you will need the H4 (also known as a 9003) kit.
Hope that helps.
Thanks.
Clifford

xBtenchu 12-31-2006, 03:31 PM Can you get 14000k?
cmoor98 12-31-2006, 11:13 PM Cliff, my HIDs arrived a couple of days ago, and I must say, the install was simple, and they work great. Guys, this guy is where it's at. His customer service is great, as well as his product.
Also, I'm still interested in a set of HIDs for my wife's 4 runner, I'll email you later this week about them.
cliffud 12-31-2006, 11:32 PM xBtenchu - is that the pink color?
If so - :) yes.
http://www.mobilehid.com/pink.jpg
Cmor98, thanks for the praise man. I'm glad I can get you guys a great deal on HID kits.
The special offer ends soon so spread the word! :)
Thanks guys and have a great new years.

Blacktop-Xb 01-01-2007, 05:05 PM When the sale is over how mutch do they go up to?
hotboxn 01-02-2007, 04:32 AM sale still on? I have money ready. I am interested in 12 or 14k kit still deciding which would be what i want.
Bossman 01-02-2007, 04:48 AM the first page says that the sale is going on until jan.12th.
why are you wanting 12 or 14k kelvin? thats purely for looks, and even then it'll be slo blue or purple/pink your car will look like it has christmas lights on it.
hotboxn 01-02-2007, 05:07 AM thx for the info. and as far as the color, why do people flame so much for the higher kits? its their own car leave it at that....
ndo54 01-02-2007, 05:09 AM I mite be in for some 6000K. Doesnt look like a lot of tC owners bought. Wonder what these would look like in the jlevi headlights?
cliffud 01-02-2007, 08:12 AM Hi All,
First off, thanks for the interest.
About the promotion sale, I am planning to end it on the 12th. If there continues to be strong interest, I may offer it up to the ScionLife community indefinitely.
Regarding the color temperatures, my manufacturer sends me shipments twice a month. For January it will be this week and towards the end of the month.
ndo54, I actually sold out of my 9006 kits and will have more by next week. not everyone that purchased posted in the thread so although it doesn't look like a lot of tC owners purchased, many have.
ichibansf 01-02-2007, 03:27 PM Clifford, it is 7:49pm out here in California on dec. 29th, I have wired my $170 for the kit. HOWEVER it did not leave me any room to specify which kit I wanted to purchase. So hopefully you read this and can consolidate the payment with the specifications of my order- 9006 style, 3500K please. This is going on an XB for my fog lights. Thanks and hope to hear a confirmation from you at your earliest convinence.
-Geoff
For those of you concerned about not being able to specify bulb/color on the webpage you can "send money" when you're logged-in to your paypal account to Clifford's paypal address. You will then be able to enter comments before sending funds.
cliffud 01-02-2007, 08:41 PM Thanks ichibansf for clarifying that. :) Just so you guys know, my paypal address is sales@mobilehid.com.
BTW: all pm's have been replied to and all kits ordered today will be in the mail.
Thanks!
cliffud 01-02-2007, 11:15 PM Inventory Update:
9006 6k and 8k kits just came in.
Also, surprise surprise - a couple of 9006 4300k 50 watt kits also came in. PM for more details.
Thanks all for the interest.
ndo54 01-03-2007, 03:33 PM 50W = brighter? still semi new to HID, sorry.
cliffud 01-03-2007, 04:46 PM Morning all.
FYI all orders up to this morning have been shipped. Except ndo54's order because it came in while I was at the post office. :)
Don't worry man, it'll be in the mail by day's end.
To compare the 50watt kits and the 35 watt kits, I found some images online since I didn't have time to take photos. The camera exposure is the same in both photos, the 50 watt kit is just THAT MUCH BRIGHTER.
http://www.mobilehid.com/images/35w.jpghttp://www.mobilehid.com/images/50w.jpg
But here is something to keep in mind when deciding between the two. Yes - the 50 watt kit is brighter. BUT, do you have a high output stereo system and do your lights dim when the bass hits?
If you answered "YES", you can benefit from the 35 watt HID kit simply because it draws less power than your factory halogen 55 watt bulbs. It doesn't sound like much but it's a drastic power savings. If you upgrade to the 50 watt kit, you'll be throwing out more light on the ground but you will only benefit marginally. Of course, if you don't have a system, then by all means- go for it if you need it. :)
For example - running 55 watt bulbs in lows and fogs will require 220 watts. Running the same setup with HID kits will only require 140 watts. That extra power helps especially if you're running over 800 watts of power just for your subs.
Now, I'm not trying to convince you to purchase either or since whatever you purchase will go into YOUR vehicle, I just want to inform all you guys about the small trade off for having stadium-like headlights in your ride.
To a special customer who purchased the first 50 watt kit - I'm sure the sun gods will be bowing to you soon. You should receive the kit by the end of the week.
:)
Thanks for all the orders guys. If any of you are interested in wholesale pricing in the future, or want to be distributors, please let me know and we'll discuss some numbers.

cliffud 01-03-2007, 10:00 PM unfazed - if you order today, they should get there by saturday via USPS Priority 2-3 day shipping. You have to order by 4pm so I can get them in the mail today.
overnighting via fedex for 1 kit was approx $60. unless you want to pay for the shipping, I'll be shipping via USPS priority 2-3 day.
lemme know! :)
btw- what is a 2005 kit? :)
Yankee21 01-03-2007, 10:17 PM Did you get my payment?
cliffud 01-03-2007, 10:23 PM Jean-
Yep - I received your payment, shipping off in 10 minutes.
Thanks for your orders everyone!
Cliff...mine where shipped already. I ordered the 9006 4300k kit. Was I lucky enough to get the 55W or was I send the 35W? Still waiting to arrive. I expect delays due to Tuesdays memorial.
Yankee21 01-03-2007, 10:31 PM Can't wait :)
cliffud 01-03-2007, 10:41 PM Since some of you asked about 50 watt HID kits, I had my manufacturer send me some in last shipment.
Sorry xB and xA owners, the 50 watt HID kits in stock are only in the 9006 bulb type. If you are interested in one of the very limited 50 watt HID kits, PM me for ordering details, color temps, etc...
Sorry JQ, all kits included in this offer are 35W.
Thanks everyone for the interest, please let your Nissan and Honda buddies know about this special offer as I have many kits in stock for their particular vehicles.
UnFaZeD 01-03-2007, 11:09 PM is it a good idea to get these for my high/low beams and for my foglights?
cliff thank for the reply. No sweat. I will deal. Also plan on posting pics when I get them in and installed. Will show the 4300K on a TC. That is what this post is missing. Hope they come soon. :eyebrow:
UnFaZeD 01-04-2007, 12:48 AM wait so these arent plug and play kits or am i misunderstood?

Did you get it for your fogs or headlights?
jonathan110987 01-04-2007, 07:02 AM how many more 35w 9006 6000k's are left cause i cant order until friday<payday>
cliffud 01-04-2007, 07:23 AM Jonathan- there are 4 35w 9006 6000k kits left.
unfazed- I got your payment, the kits will be at fedex tomorrow morning. and yes, the 9006 kits are completely plug and play and as far as HID for lows and fogs - I think it'll be cool. Dugzilla picked up two sets for his xB and it looks pretty mean.
For those of you who picked up the H4/9003 kits, I modified the wiring harness so you don't have to mod it for high beam functionality.
There is a write up of what I did here: http://www.mobilehid.com/h4.htm
All you need to do is step 11 to get everything working properly.
Thanks for the orders guys.

http://img1.putfile.com/thumb/1/313214754.jpg (http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=4423614)
Bumper removal wasn't necessary for installation, but the driver's side is tough for my hands to squeeze through and carefully insert the bulb, so I took out the headlight just to be on the safe side. The thread below has more pix and simple (short) instructions.

Bossman 01-04-2007, 07:35 PM Clifford...went by my mail box today and still to my dismay I have not received my kit. What im confused about is unfazed has his kit being sent via fedex, while mine was USPS. And I ordered my set on Dec. 29th, it is now the 4th and still has not come in. I live in California which is right next to AZ so I don't see how these have not come in yet. It is not like I live back east. i just dont get why mine was sent USPS, and still not received, where as other set(s) have been sent via FedEx. Sorry but I have now grown frustrated. I know the price included shipping, but if it was delayed this much, I would have paid more (which was not an option on the site) to receive the kit within a 5 day time.......
cliffud 01-04-2007, 08:09 PM Hey Bossman, I'm sorry to hear you haven't received the kit yet. I'll check on the shipping of your kit when I get back to the office.
As far as next day shipping is concerned, I agree, I should have offered it if you guys are willing to pay for it. Going forward, that will be the case.
About unfazed's order, his kits should get to him tomorrow but he paid a premium for the shipping.
ichibansf 01-04-2007, 08:23 PM hey bossman, don't forget that Monday was New Year's Day and Tuesday was Ford's funeral. The USPS was closed for both holidays. There's a good chance USPS sat on the package since Saturday and it didn't leave AZ till yesterday (Wednesday)!!!
808scion 01-04-2007, 08:34 PM hey cliff, jus got my Kit in testarday. great loking product. is my H3 kit a high/low beam or is it just a single beam??? i was just wondering if i needed to mod anything??
travis
hieroglyphics 01-04-2007, 08:59 PM im gonna back ichiban on that too............ saturdays post office closes at 1pm depending on where you are, sunday closed, monday holiday, tuesday holiday, wednesday open.
cliffud 01-04-2007, 09:22 PM 808- You won't have to mod anything, it will be just plug and play. H3 bulbs in general are single use bulbs. Within your aftermarket headlamp assembly, you should have a light for your high beams separately.
Thanks!
Cliff
Just got my kit today. Fast Shipping Thax. Going to install after dinner will post pics.
SuperMario6582 01-05-2007, 02:05 AM do you have any kits left in 9006 6k and 8k?
cliffud 01-05-2007, 04:45 AM yup- i have 9006 6k and 8k in stock
Bossman 01-05-2007, 05:01 AM cliff, thanks for getting back. so its 10pm and i just got home from work and looks like my roommate stopped by to pick up the mail before I did earlier today and picked up the package for me and didnt tell me.....so it did come in today and the kit is arranged VERY NICE. Extreemly impressed with the neatness of the packaging. My only question is on the instructions provided, do I follow the "moving H4 installation" or the circuit diagram?...and I have 4 fuses total, these required for install as well or not? thanks again man and I will pound my roommate for the embarassment he made me go through on here.
Bossman 01-05-2007, 07:08 AM ah i just dont know what to do with these 2 clear and 2 green fuses....or where these go? theres not much of a write up for the 9006 kit so im kinda going in blind on this part
cliffud 01-05-2007, 01:33 PM Hey Bossman,
About the fuses- you don't need them- they're included just in case you blow one of your fuses in the car's factory electrical system or the inline fuse along the red wire.
There are only 7 connections the 9006 kit requires.
1) Connect red wire to the battery.
2) black wire to ground.
3) The really really long wire with the plug that has the rubber insulation on it goes to the ballast opposite the battery.
4) The shorter wire with the plug that has the rubber insulation on it connects to the ballast on the battery side.
5) There will be somewhat of a shorter plug that will connect to your factory headlight plug on the battery side. This triggers the relay to send power to the ballasts.
6) Connect the ballast to the bulb on the battery side.
7) Connect the ballast to the bulb on the side opposite the battery.
You should be done. Just make sure you spend some time to align your headlights since they may be a little off after having fiddled with the lights.
For those of you who purchased the 9003 kits, you will have the same connections to make however your bulbs will need to connect to the factory wiring harness to draw power for the high beams.
For those kits, there is a write up on how to modify the wiring harness but I have done most of the work and have color coded the final connections for you. For reference, please check out the write up here:
http://www.mobilehid.com/h4.htm
Thanks!
Oh yeah- just to clarify since I've received some questions about the wiring harnesses.
The wire harness is INCLUDED IN THE PURCHASE OF THE KIT. :)
Thanks again for all your orders and have a great weekend.
Clifford

sending PM with regards to order
Bossman 01-06-2007, 04:47 AM Cliff, I just finished installing the kit but there is a slight problem though, I believe from the looks of the lights when 'on' that they are not a 3500k type. My drivers side has a blue, green tint to it whereas the rightside is very halogen looking. The color just does not match up to what you have listed on your website for that kelvin. Please let me know what you need to check or for me to send to you, but I do believe that I did not get a 3500k type.

My passengers side looks 4300k, and the drivers side looks like the 8000k.
cliffud 01-06-2007, 05:34 AM hey unfazed- i actually double checked your messages and you replied back saying you wanted 6k and not 8k. because of that message, I went back to the fedex center to ask for the package back and swapped out the kits.
This was the last message I received on Wednesday at 5:10pm.

cliffud 01-08-2007, 09:48 PM infamous - what kind of bulbs do you need? I happen to have a d2c kit sitting here. it's a 4300k kit. i *think* i have some 6k bulbs sitting here too but i'll have to check.
bossman, replied.
Infamous425 01-08-2007, 10:23 PM this would be for my accord. i have projector headlights on it with a McCulloh 6000k HID kit. i want a little more light output so i was thinkin of changing to a 4300k bulbs instead. it uses H1 bulbs

Holidays suck! :) But don't worry guys- it'll go out.
Thanks again for your orders. For those on the fence about ordering, submit your order before Jan 12. on Jan 13, the SL price goes up to $200.
Bossman 01-10-2007, 08:19 PM cliff- the bulbs have been sent out via fedex. if you would like the tracking # let me know. Were you going to ship back in the same box or send me the replacements now that its being sent? trying to avoid the hold up on Mondays holiday to get the correct bulbs in time.
cliffud 01-10-2007, 08:47 PM Bossman, I'll send out replacements today.
Thanks.

N-Dawg 01-11-2007, 05:37 AM Hey Cliff, Just placed my order for 2 HID kits, 1 8000k 9006 & 1 8000k H11, please confirm my order and when I should expect to receive them, thanks again.
integgi 01-11-2007, 05:54 AM Cliff, can you please change my order to 6000k 9006 instead of 4300k? Please confirm change. Thanks!
cliffud 01-11-2007, 07:05 AM Hey guys... Thanks for all of your orders!
I will ship them IMMEDIATELY after they arrive.
Integgi - got your order changed.
N-Dawg - I will get all kits out ASAP. The day they reach me, they will be shipped out. Boxes and foam are already setup for shipment. :)
Setarcos - I totally agree man. I've priced these kits to be about the same as a set of nice speakers and if I had to choose between an HID kit or a set of speakers, I'd get the lights every time.
The shipment is due next week but with MLK day on Monday, I am worried it will be pushed back.
By the way- where are all the photos? :)
N-Dawg 01-11-2007, 07:20 AM Thanks Cliff for the quick response, I'll post pics of the TC & Solara when I receive them.

cliffud 01-11-2007, 09:46 PM Awesome Jonathan - think you can get some pics of the beam pattern and light output on the ground?
Also - get your orders in now for $170 or forever hold your peace! :) Prices go up to $200 on Saturday!
Daskid 01-11-2007, 10:55 PM Hi Cliff,
If I place an order tonight, will you be able to ship it tomorrow? I think I'll be getting the 9006 6000K. I'm not sure yet, I'm just inquiring.
Thanks!
cliffud 01-11-2007, 11:34 PM Hey Jehoo- kits are sold out until my next shipment comes in late next week. i am HOPING the MLK holiday doesn't mess with my shipment but i'm afraid it might since everything has to go through customs.
Once they arrive, they will IMMEDIATELY ship out. Boxes are already setup.
Daskid 01-11-2007, 11:40 PM I see. I still have the whole night to think about it. I'll let you know later. Thanks! :D
jonathan110987 01-12-2007, 01:41 AM Here are my pics for u clif.

I want 4300K please.
My Paypal is 81citation@comcast.net
cliffud 01-12-2007, 05:18 AM jonathan - HOLY COW - THOSE PICS ARE AWESOME! If you don't mind, I'm going to post them on my mobilehid.com web site. Good job man. You're definitely in the top 3 winners.

xbtenchu - pm'd you.
Golden - thanks for the heads up - I've put you down on the list of orders to ship once the next shipment comes in.

cliffud 01-12-2007, 10:43 PM Hey Bryan,
Sorry man, all 9006 kits are gone. The only remaining ones are the 50 watt versions. If you are even on the fence about purchasing one, I suggest you submit your order today and lock in the price at $170. All kits will ship immediately after my shipment comes in late next week.
Thanks Bryan.
Clifford
Carlanga 01-12-2007, 10:47 PM Never mind, just saw post above.

50 watt versions? what are those? i'll let you know by tonight if i wanna reserve mine. but looking forward to have those. :P
Carlanga 01-12-2007, 11:05 PM PM sent.
cliffud 01-12-2007, 11:20 PM I have 2 9006 50 watt kits available. They are 4300k and 6000k. Some have expressed interest in these so I had my manufacturer send me a few in the last shipment.
Thus far though only 1 member on here has purchased a set. I put in a set in my personal car and noticed quite a bit more light output. Basically- when you fire up traditional 35 watt HID bulbs, they warm up and it takes maybe 15-20 seconds. These 50 watt kits do the same but they don't stop warming up after 20 seconds - they go for another 10 seconds or so and the light emitted keeps getting whiter and brighter... They are white since I have 4300k in the car.
If there is a lot of interest, I will have my manufacturer send me more and since it will be in bulk, I will probably be able to offer a better price than the previously quoted $240 shipped price.
If I can get the price lower than $240, how many of you will be interested? They will be 50 watt bulbs and 50 watt ballasts.
xBtenchu 01-13-2007, 12:00 AM xbtenchu - pm'd you.
didnt get it
Shorty 01-13-2007, 12:04 AM sent Pm
stillmotion 01-13-2007, 12:06 AM If you could get the 8000 in 50 watt I would upgrade my current order... unless you think the 6000 are not much dif. I just want a blue tint
cliffud 01-13-2007, 12:25 AM The 6k kits are slightly blue. The member who purchased the 50 watt kit picked up the 8k kit because he wanted to make sure he didn't lose a ton of visible light.
I say visible light because darker lights are harder to see than whiter light. Think about a blue light bulb and imagine how hard it is to see the light on the ground compared to a white light bulb.
If you start with a 4300k bulb, which is oem white, you will lose 12% of your visible light when switching to the 6k bulbs due to the slight tint of blue. Comparatively, if you go from a 4300k bulb to an 8k bulb, you'll lose 20% of your visible light.
Of course the same concept applies to the 50 watt kits but the amount of light output is on a much higher level.
eyegiantjackpot 01-13-2007, 12:34 AM just ordered my kit..sent you a PM with the details..
cant wait to get it!
stillmotion 01-13-2007, 01:10 AM The 6k kits are slightly blue. The member who purchased the 50 watt kit picked up the 8k kit because he wanted to make sure he didn't lose a ton of visible light.
so are you able to order 50 watt 8k 9006? if so let me know and I will upgrade...
cliffud 01-13-2007, 02:09 AM Stillmotion - yes, i can get the 50 watt 8k 9006 kits.
In fact, I can get the 50 watt versions for any kit.
Daskid 01-13-2007, 02:13 AM When did you say the deadline for $170 shipped was? What time?
cliffud 01-13-2007, 02:34 AM The deadline is today! :)
Daskid 01-13-2007, 02:42 AM Do you have 3000K H3 bulbs in stock?
cliffud 01-13-2007, 02:56 AM the H3 3k is somewhat of a special order item. I have one set coming in but it's already spoken for. If you want, I can have my manufacturer ship me some by the end of the month.
Daskid 01-13-2007, 03:01 AM But how about 6000K H3 bulbs? Actually, I can't still decide between 3000K and 6000K color temps.
cliffud 01-13-2007, 03:32 AM hehe Jehoo- how about you just order and decide later. :)
but yeah- i'll have the H3s in 6k.
micaxB 01-13-2007, 05:48 AM these are 200 now, correct?
cliffud 01-13-2007, 08:06 AM Thanks everyone for your orders. Unfortunately, January 12 is here so changes have been made to the ordering page.
HID conversion kits are now $200 shipped.
There will be a new special offer from MobileHID.com coming up so stay tuned!
Thanks again everyone.

cliffud 01-16-2007, 08:41 PM well, i checked the progress this afternoon and it doesn't look like it budged yesterday. i'm still hoping it will come in on thursday/friday but it realistically looks like it will be next week.
sorry guys. if i could control the shipping of the packages, i would.
Setarcos4131 01-17-2007, 03:51 AM As long as I can get my kit by next thursday (25th I believe?) I will be uber happy, since planned a lil hangin out and doing cars things with my good friend over Gasparilla weekend! I would be oh so greatful if this could happen =)...if it doesn't, I still am happy because I only payed $170 for HID's!
Bossman 01-18-2007, 12:25 AM Clifford, bro my phone is shatty and im at my cafe right on the wireless network. I sent you a message since my phone is still blinking no service and this is the only contact I have until late tonight. (f*ckin verizon wireless). be in touch with you bro.

Golden86 01-19-2007, 01:53 PM Did you recieve the shipments yet?
Thanks
Mike
cliffud 01-19-2007, 02:32 PM Morning guys - today is the 19th and it looks like they'll get here either tomorrow or monday. Just waiting on the wonderful guys at DHL.
I have all of your shipping boxes ready for shipment. Boxes setup, foam packing already in them, just waiting for the kits. As soon as the kits get here, I'll give them a quick inspection to ensure everything is there and nothing is broken (i do this for all kits) and they will be shipped off the same day.
Thanks guys for being patient. When these kits were in stock, they went out within 24 hours of being ordered. Compared to waiting for DHL now... yeah- I know it sucks guys so I apologize but getting these here faster is something out of my control.
Setarcos4131 01-19-2007, 02:53 PM cliff, since the kits are being shipped from AZ, you think I'll get my kit before friday? I have to leave to Tampa on friday and was just wondering what kinda shipping method you use to send out all the kits with. Thanks.
stillmotion 01-19-2007, 03:00 PM when will you you be getting in your next shipment after this one, for those of us that had special orders?
payment sent for relay and fuse for scion xb h4. i believe.

I know how it is waiting for shipments, I do A LOT of sales on ebay, and people just don't understand how shipping can be a hit or miss situation.
Im glad you are keeping us updated.
Hope to see mine soon!
cliffud 01-20-2007, 04:42 AM Good news guys. I was on the phone all day today with dhl and i am 95% sure i'll be able to pick them up at the dhl shipping hub here in Phoenix instead of waiting for them to get delivered on Monday.
So - :) cross your fingers - I may be able to ship them off in tomorrow's mail!

Setarcos4131 01-21-2007, 12:34 AM How did Things with DHL go today? Success? or wait till monday?...either way, I appreciate the fact that you are going outta ur way to get us these kits.
N-Dawg 01-21-2007, 04:17 PM Cliff, any updates?
cliffud 01-21-2007, 06:27 PM good news guys. i ran down to the dhl office yesterday and was able to pick up the shipment. you should be getting your kits by tuesday or wednesday. everything except for 50 watt kits were shipped out yesterday.
50 watt kits are due here by the end of the month. I'll include a special gift with the 50 watt kits since those of you who have ordered them have to wait another couple of weeks.
