Winter wheels/tire help for '07 tc
Hi
I want to get some 16" steel wheels and winter tires for my tc. Scion dealer wants $130 per steel wheel (spec pkg. wheels). I'm not paying that so I was looking at discounttiredirect.com ($50-65).
I decided I'd go with tire size 205/55/16 and needed some help with the wheels. I know the diameter is 16" and I think the bolt pattern needed is 5x100mm. However, what wheel width do I need?
Here are the 16" 5-100mm

Also, will it harm the suspension or tire pressure monitoring system riding on these for ~3 months?
Thanks a lot[/url]

The bolt pattern and offset for the scion rims is similar to Subaru.
I have 16" subaru steels on my TC. The center bore is a bit larger than the scion, but they work.
Check on tirerack under Subaru. But be sure to talk to a technician at tirerack to make sure the offset will work. 15" steels for a Subaru wouldn't clear my tC brakes, but the 16"s (for a 2003-2003 WRX) did fit.
