hey, (and yes ive searched, and i havnt gotten any opionions just info) For the people who have the rs1 lip kit on there tcs, how happy are you wiht it? and how is the fitment and installation? thanks guys

Fitment...isnt THAT bad...install for te side skirt and rear is easy as hell just have to jack up and take off wheels

and the only hardpart was putting the front lip on with my bottom GRILL craft grill

if i have a stock grill, will the front lip be hard to put on?
also are the side skirts replacements or do they go over?

 

yeah the lip kit comes with i guess you can extensions into the bnottom of the grill(all three bottome ones) so it looks very flush and fit, so the problem with me was that i had to force it under a gap in the grillcraft which was extremely hard to do...i think with the stock grill u will be fine...and the side skirts go over the stockers

 

i cant wait for my lip kit :D (not RS1 just wnated to post my opinion lol)

if my sponsor wasnt comin out wiht one id be all over this lip kit! i think its beautiful!

 

I'm getting mine painted/installed next month and I also have the grillcraft grills so hopefully the shop I'm taking it to doesn't have any problems getting it to fit.

 

side skirt fitment was a little off for me, but made it work! I did the OEM front though.

 

my side skirts cracked...havent fixed em yet.

 

how much do u guys think it will cost to paint the rs1 front and side?

i was very happy with mine.. the fitment is pretty good, however there are some gaps, but nothing too noticeable.

also, the lip is very very very strong.. i hit a cement wall doing like 80 and nothing happened.. so i was very happy

also, if you have a black car, you dont necessarily have to paint it haha, i know i didnt:

i see it too.. look on the pic second from the bottom. It looks like there is a gap by the windshield

looks like hood spacers to me...

 

bingo.. its a hood "pop" honda guys do it all the time, basically helps with cooling of hte engine.

i put about six washers to raise it up and took the weather stripping off the back of hte hood.. not sure if it worked or not hto

 

how long is the wait on one of these kits?
