i was woundering if anyone knows the biggest size of rim plus tire you can fit in the area provided for the spare tire?

i was thinking of replacing that temp spare with a full time 17" rim size spare *17"x7 or 7.5*. and with that, would anyone know the distance in inches from the tire off to the right over near the reat right strut bell area? i have an idea for a battery placement there like a Kenitek Audio HC2000 or HC2400, if theres 7+ inches of space between the tire and the right strut bell then i can mount the battery right there next to the and form the fiberglass boxes over the top.

can anyone shine some light on this? i'm trying to get this all planned out before i get my Box which will be VERY soon. but like i said, i'd like to get this planned out now before i get it that way i can start as soon as i get it.
