Color match or complementary interior for RS 4
I've been shopping for seat covers for my RS 4 - I have kids and they trashed the car that we are replacing.
Of course we will never match the paint. The best we can do is be neutral or complement with something contrasting.
My kids like the black seats with red silver inserts. I like purple or tan. Neutral could also be white but prob wouldn't look good in a dark car.
Any ideas, comments, suggestions, or you own solutions are very welcome!

You could go with black with silver center panels. Get some of those wet okole neoprene seat covers. They can be machine washed and come in matched sets for the xB. Here is the link. http://wetokole.net/page/WOH/CTGY/SCION
When I got my RS 3, I looked all over the place for seat covers that matched it. http://www.scionshoppe.com/SeatCovers.html
Scion Shoppe did covers in Envy Green that they made specially to go on without removing the headrest, since you really can't because of the DVDs. Scion Shoppe has several different colors, and since they're covers, you could swap them out and have a couple different ones depending upon your mood.
We ultimately justified leather covers because of our dogs and muddy feet and fur--medium gray with a metallic pewter carbon fiber leather insert down the center. The gray and metallic matched the interior and dash really well. Heated the seats, too. I like those toasty buns.
I met with our leather vendor for a customer waiting for his RS 4, and he couldn't figure out a color to match the that either, so matching the interior seems like a safe way to go.
E-mail the folks at Scion Shoppe. They replied to my questions almost immediately.
Good luck!

If he goes with the black/grey neoprene ones they will match the other silver parts inside the interior.
Eeek, muddy dog feet are not a good match for leather seats or Scion interiors in general. That's just scarey.

Those neoprene seat covers look pretty great, too! I wanted to lighten up the interior of my xB a little, so the medium graphite leather color went on the door panels, too. The metallic carbon fiber blends well with the brushed aluminum on the dash. However, I'm half tempted to get the neoprene covers in a bright color and black to go over the leather.
I tell you, leather with muddy paws is way easier to clean than fabric, and golden retriever fur doesn't stick to leather, either.
The only trouble with having a car that's so much fun to add things to is that you're never *done*! There's always something else you want to do to it.
