View Full Version : oil sender unit install?HELP!!

i have a glow shift oil guage for my tc, anyone install one yet? i have the sender install already and the directions for the wireing is no help. on top of the sender theres 2 prongs one WG and the other is G? on the back of the guage there is S for sender I or - i dont know and + . what wires go where to make the guage work? I'v tried about everything made the guage read over 100psi but i know thas not right the wires must be mixed up. help me out.

How many wires? Colors? Pic of the back of the gauge? That might help us to help u.

well i got the gauge to light up. there is 3 wires back of gauge and 2 prongs on the sender its self, on the sending unit one says WG and the other says G. on the guage one is says S and the other two there is a - and a + what is WG? all i know is S goes to sender

have you had any problems with the glowshift oil sandwich plate?

no not at all, it worked great .may just want to put some thread lock on the plate so it don't come loose every time you change your oil.

silly question.

But your refering to the side that screws into the block correct? If so, any thread locker in particular?

Also what oil filter are you using with that glowshift plate?
