ive searched through almost the entire ice and int. forum here for any answers and i found a couple but nothing that answered my question.

my understanding is that the 2005 tc doest come with the wiring harness for the ipod head unit. i bought the head unit new in box from my local scion dealer and it comes with two cables, one which installs into the glove box and connects to the missing wire harness. the second cable connects to the ipod and to that plug.

i would like to use the ipod funciton and was just wondering has any other 05 owner run into a similar problem?

also does anyone know is it possible to get this harness or has anyone made a custom one?

you can purchase one, but it's very expensive...

and trying to take one out of another car will be the worst experience of your life.
(it's been done... i know of only once.... and it wasn't an easy thing to do...)
