hey

i have a tc and am thinking of switching to an xb. i always wanted an xb. my 1st car was an 03 mustang, than got the 06 tc, but.. im thinking back to the xb.

speed isn't a thrill to me. i have a cai,mid,cat-back exhaust on my tc.. but it doesn't give me a thrill. I just like the noise of the exhaust. though it ____es me of sometimes because everyone and their mother thinks that i want to race them because of my Megan Exhaust.

im starting a new job on Monday and I'll be making 3x what i was making. so its not a money issue. i just want a clean ride that is different from MOST and whatnot. I bought a tC because everyone had an xB. That was dumb. everyone has a tc now.

i dont spend too much time driving. gas money won't be an issue, though it'd be nice to have 30MPG. im a gamer so most of the time (when im not at work) im in my room. but maybe i'll get a 30 flip-down screen in the back of the xb so I could open the rear hatch and play Wii Sports in the parking lot! score!

the xb changed automotive design as we know it. after the xb came the HONDA ELEMENT, NISSAN CUBE, DODGE HORNET CONCEPT, etc..

I think owning an original xB in 40 years will be like owning a 1964 1/2 Mustang today. They might not be fast, but they sure as héll changed the future of cars.


I've posted similar threads to this months and months ago.. but i never did trade in the tc yet. im too easily influenced. i must change that. when i watch smokey and the bandit... i want to become a gear-jammer (truck driver), or after I watch the Matrix I want to become a hacker and take red pills. lol!

I always kept the tc because it was sporty and hip. I AM NOT A STREET RACER. I don't follow the crowd. I'm a thinker. I blaze my own trails. I am a JDM *****!


I think the xB is right for me.
