As Promised Q45 Projectors in xA housing.
Well here is my completed work. Was an ultra pain with wiring and getting things to work correctly but it's done now. This mod is not for the light hearted or for people who do not know how to work with electical wiring and with limite DIY experience. Here is the breakdown of what it costs me.
$320 - Q45 Projectors shipped. Got it for cheap. Will cost most people $400.
$140 - HID kit. Will need it cause you cannot put H4 bulbs in. D2S only.
$ 30 - D2S adapters. HID kit wont have this.
$ 10 - Relay, wires, connectors, etc.

Note this is all the pricing if you do it yourself like I did. I did also paid for an extra headlight on ebay while I work on my stock ones. This is so I can have a working headlight to drive around since all this is experimental.
Q45 projectors use D2S bulbs. This means you will not have a high beam once installed. HIDs are bright enough that you might not need it. You can always wire the high beams to something else, like extra fog lights or something. The projector looks really nice and the light output is wide. It doesnt travel as far as S2000 ones or TSX projectors, but who wants to look at a dinky little projector in our huge housing..
Our stock headlight wiring will not have sufficient power to light up the bulbs. You will need to put together a relay to get them working. This was a pain to figure out. >_>.
Anyways, here is the final result. Hope you enjoy.

Also here are some pictures of my car with a modified Kenstyle kit. I made it so it flowed towards the fenders. I like it this way better. It's hard to see in the pictures because I painted the kit black. It looks better that way. Kit might be changed out for a full carbon fiber Kenstyle. Anyways, enjoy.

Well it rained last night and I did some driving with them on. The relay somehow managed to get water into it. I didnt find out til I really had to use my headlights. Scrambling to get them working, I drove without headlights at night to buy a new relay. Here are some night pics after the relay was replaced. Was in a hurry so sorry for bad pictures. I will retake them when I get a chance.

Awesome man!! I'm glad you were finally able to get them fired up with a direct connection to the battery.
Congratulations on a wicked set of lights for a very unique xA! I can't wait to see the night photos.
Make sure you use a tripod to steady the camera so you can get sharp night photos.
I figured that one out after many a blurry pic...
