Welcome aboard!

You should come to one of the bay area scion meets. We usually have something planned every other week or so. It don't matter if your ride is bone stock or built to the hilt,, we'd like to meet ya. Check the bay area forum every once in awhile for our meets. I think that there's a bay area scion meet in livermore next saturday. Also, I'm in the works of setting up a mini meet on sunday dec. 14 at Sportsrack vehicle outfitters in sunnyvale.

thanks for the welcome, and all the heads up
ill check the board and see if I can make it to the meets.

now for some road trip experience
when going to LA my blackBox was getting weak on the hills so I turned the o/d off and it screemed up the hills then I thought I should see what the top speed is and stepped on the gas on I5 and got it to go about 107 8) but it was little too windy so I didnt push it anymore. the ride is much more comfortable compared to my 2000 civic and my 1989 mazda mx6.
my windshield got cracked going to vegas on mojave. :x :( a rock hit the top and next thing I see is a line on my windshield. now I have to get my insurance to get me new windshield, that ____ed me off I had just gotten my windows tinted too.
Other than that the car had no problems at all. I was driving about 80 or so the whole time and my a/c was on most of the time.

I love my xB

Welcome to the site Vho! This is a great place of Scion members. Definately should come out to one of our meets, although I myself have only been to one (Tracy meet). Great group of people that are into cars but also other things. I have been to a couple of car meets where if you aren't talking shop they give you funny looks. I bought my xB at the end of Sept. & I also have over 7k miles. Gonna change the oil again tomorrow. I used to commute in a CRX before this, so I know how good it feels to ride in a car that isn't jarring.

In any case, welcome aboard!
