Yep, 30seconds! Plugs into the OBDII port under the dash by the pedals.

I hit 227 degrees just the other day in traffic with the AC on! What have you got?

i think i may have it in the 130s/140s in traffic. doesnt help that the air temp is 103 daily.

finally getting some much needed rain though, we havent had much significant rain in the past 22 months

Ha! I messed up and said 127 instead of 227! Man the blue light stays on till 139! Yeah the higher air temps definitely make it go up I learned not to sit on the car in fronts tail and to give my car some breathing room! BTW I could go for a good rain storm right about now :rolling:

average running temp with A/C on and (or just) driving is 186. with the ac off it will go to 204 then kick the fan on.

just realizied that you guys are talking about water temp, im talking about air intake temp. my water temp has topped at about 215-220 or so when stuck in traffic

oh my bad. i got confused as well.

how do you get the cord thru the cubby light hole for a tc??

take apart the dash and cut a new hole or try and make a new hole with everything still together and run the wire through. make it going through the top so that it is not noticeable if you ever take out the scanguage

yea no prob jigga, like to help out whenever i can.

and plus, i love the scanguage. made a custom mount for it and i hang it from the headliner right next to the rear view mirror and passport radar detector.

Ordered mine. Question, how long is the cord it comes with? Im a tuner and its PITA to use obd readers because of short cord.. SO im hoping this has a nice lengthy cord!

Cables are 6' and seem to be a good length which is nice because they don't have longer ones!
However the end that plugs into the ScanGauge is a standard RJ45 connector so you can use a CAT5 patch cord adapter and a second CAT5 patch cord to get more length if needed. If you need a adapter let me know I can get one for you.

Some people like a second cable so they can route one all neat then have a spare to use the gauge in their buddies car...but yeah everything you need is there.

Its a great tool for tuning if you go boosted and it can scan all CEL codes and can erase them. In can show fuel trims, ignition timing, water temp and a lot of other things.
