Looking to buy a muffler off of ebay. Any recommendations for a good one? I am just looking for one with a good sound.

Are you going for non-brand names or brand name mufflers?

ehh.... i tend to stay away from ebay for anything other than little parts - I like the actual sites that sell parts bc if you have any questions you can ask them instead of waiting for some guy on ebay to answer...and if it doesnt work out for you, you are kinda outta luck unless you want to pay shipping back

Probably brand name unless anyone knows of a good off brand one?

go to you tube and listen to what you want...i personally like the HKS hi power and the Tanabe concept G

I say go with one of the sites that sells parts for the tC. You're better off with those sites than a person on ebay, unless they are selling used brand name mufflers.

when you say muffler you mean exhaust? or are you just buying a muffler and getting the rest of the piping done locally? if you just want some sound go with an axleback, a little more power from a catback if that's what you want as well.

I just installed the megan OE axleback (midpipe and s-pipe on the way), and it sounds great. Very quiet, nice and deep.

Yes, if it says it's catback.

The TRD is an axleback.

if you want some tone, a borla or precision muffler axleback will suite you well. I personally run a precision muffler axleback and even with a complete exhaust (mmw header, mmw s-pipe, custom midpipe w/ 2 18" resonators, PM axleback) it sounds like stock until i get aggressive with the gas pedal. Highway droning is next to nothing and just cruising around town is awesome.

does the tsudo have the mufler at the end like the HKS exhaust or is the muffler hidden up under the bumper with a tube comming out and ending in a nice tip like the precision muffler exhaust?

Looks like the HKS, the fit is great, doesn't stick out but still looks awesome.

Tsudo comes out like HKS but a little less of an angle.

you might as well pay the extra and get a axleback or a little more for a full catback

i say get a catback if you find one you like. most will cost the same as axlebacks already out and they'll yield a tiny bit more power.

vibrant makes mufflers. yeah they are nice. but you might as well save yourself the hassle and just buy something already put together. unless you have a crazy idea.

WOW...someone besides me actualy has heard of Number 1....I keep telling people what Exhaust i bought...,and all i get is, huh?

Number one is a cheap brand, but it is distributed by Nopi. It has been around for years, and like you said, big with the Honda camp. I figured, for a 157.00, Ill try it out, i already know its prolly gonna be loud, but thats what I want.

Anyhoo, I installed a tsudo, on a friends tC, so I will be able to tell if they are the exact same when i get mine.....
Heres a link to the to another auction from the same guy....I think he works Ebay sales for Nopi...
