live in SF, get to battle with the hills.......so...auto tranny seems to be a logcal choice.

I test drove the auto..... couldn't stand it! Besides, I'm a M/T type of guy. I ordered mine in 5-speed and am NOT settling for an auto. I can sympathize with you in SF, though... I've been there too many times with my M/T Maxima!

Manual here. Too bad I only get to 3rd on a normal basis driving to work in good ole LA traffic.

I've driven a manual in SF... it was an um.. interesting experience. Parallel parking on a hill is tons of fun. But it's really only downtown that has the insane hills, everywhere else is just fine. So get two tC's auto for "the city" and manual for everywhere else around the bay...
