hey phillip...

life is always unfair~
bBted 12-06-2003, 01:46 AM i really like those gauges...do u guys have to take the dash apart???
Phillip_Injen 12-06-2003, 10:29 PM We are only displaying the xB. We are not competing as this is a company car and it would be unfair to those that work hard to customize their own cars and enter shows.
We will be there for support and help represent the Scion community as well as enjoying the show like everyone else.

thank god u're not competing..haha j/k. i'm just jealous of all the capital you guys have and the resources put into the xB. How much did you guys spend so far on mods?
isn't the plasma t.v. alone worth about $1500? ...i can only imagine the tallied cost list on the injen xB. u gotta hook us TSW members up...

With that simple post--words cannot describe how much respect that Phillip as well as Injen has earned with me, personally.
That's why I haven't been to any shows--because everyone else thinks opposite of Phillips philosophy--Cram a boat load of parts into a car and tour the show scene stomping on everyone that has to work long and hard to buy parts for themselves instead of getting hand outs left and right. It's just a matter of principle, and I've been let down with the sheer number of companies/individuals who feel that all that's important are trophys.
Again, much props and a whole lotta respect for you guys at Injen.!
scioninla 12-09-2003, 07:47 AM The guys at Injen are great..they are working along side with bBist (Steve)
I met Paul (R and D) when they used my car to test fit the second intake and he was really cool and told me that he is down to support TSW and Scion owners at shows etc...
That is nice of them to display since they know that it would not be fair, as Jason mentioned, to others who have put a lot of time asking for sponsorships and money into their cars.
I personally go to support the team and Scion. I have not won any trophies from all the shows that we have entered in the past 5 months..to me what matters is that people are realizing the potential of these cars..and they are a class in itself...
Win or lose at the show..I just like seeing the guys with the typical Civic talking all this smack about Scions and when the winners are announced and a Scion takes a trophy (as we did in all the Mainstream Production's events in Amateur class over all other makes)...the look on their faces is undescribable...it's just refreshing that we have a lot of car enthusiasts such as the members of Scion Life..who are going away from the norm and taking a chance on a new car and taking it to the next level as well as setting the standards ....
With companies like Injen and bBist who support not only Team Scion West, Scion Life members..but the whole Scion community...it's really great to have companies like these building parts for our cars and throwing their support any way they can.
Thanks again for joining us at the upcoming show...thanks Phillip, Paul and Steve (bBist)
Cheshire_Cat 12-09-2003, 08:13 AM I had the privilege of meeting Paul and all the others at Injen.
They are the nicest group of people ever. I got a tour of R & D, and even got to sit in the xB.
And I applaude them for not competing. They understand what alot of us have been going through :
Building your car up to compete, only to have a dealer car take away the trophy that is rightfully yours or your friends.
Thank You Injen. 8)

Unfortunately the exhaust was not able to be put into production sooner. The SES2100 (xB Injen exhaust system) should be available in 6-8 weeks, but don't quote me on that. I'm working on a short write-up of Injen products that I will be posting in the power hungry section on whats available and is going to be available. There will be pictures and stuff and I can answer any questions you may have regarding the parts in that thread.
Thank you for your support.
