Hi all..

I'm going to attempt to transport a set of tires for a friend of mine's miata. can anyone verify that this is possible? I'll be the only person in the car.

They won't lie perfectly flat, but you can make it work. I just wrap mine in big garbage bags (1 wheel = 2 bags. Just in case.) to protect my interior. I hope you're talking about hauling them in a tC! You didn't specify your car.

 

i had two tc rims and wheels with a bunch of other stuff...i'd says its possible


but wrap them like he said...makes it a lot cleaner

 

Four tires will most deffinately fit in a tC.

thank god for the fold down seats. and be sure to put the tires in plastic bags like the guy up there said.

i fit 4 33" tires in the back of my tC. fit fine, could tell there was a bit of weight back there, but nothing serious

 

you'll be perfectly fine! I put 16" wheels w/ 205/50 tires. I could have fit 1 more wheel/tire.

 

If it's a tC just lay the back seat down...when I got after market wheels that's how I got my stock ones home.
