Default Quick Photoshoot... (56k Grab A Snickers)

Yeahhh well I got bored after washing my car today and decided to take some pics in an empty parking lot. I would've taken more, but an SUV pulled in quickly while I was taking pictures and closed and locked the gates on me! I was like WTF Mate! Haha... so I just set up some rocks and mound of dirt off the curb and drove off as slow as I could and got out! Yep well thats my story of the day.... here's some pictures.

Sorry I had to watermark my pics. The last time I posted pics of my car online I found them eBay!

Great job on the panning picture. That and the first one are my fav's.

You have some nice angles, just work on the exposure. The highlights in most of the picture are blown out, creating those near-blinding sun reflections and white skies.

I don't know what you are shooting with, but if your camera can take one get a polarizing filter for your car shots. You'll thank me later.

I'm using a crappy old Kodak EasyShare digi cam.... just a small 3 megapixel camera I got about 3 years ago. Not bad tho huh?

I have a nice Konica Minolta that I use for my photo class at my college tho.

Very nice for what you were working with, but next time bring out the Minolta so I can have a new background ;)

I've been trying to find angles of my car that I actually like in a photo. I love the way the car looks, but for some reason everytime I look at shots of the entire car I am not happy. Maybe it's just me.

I think you may have given me some ideas though.

Thank you.

Well my Minolta isn't digital.... so I'd have to develop and then scan the pics at school which is a pain in the ****.

(ohh and I have the pic as a 1024x768 if you want to use it as a desktop background.... just send me a PM)

Go Digital... you won't regret it. I picked up a Canon S2IS a few months ago, and its a nice beginner camera. It's definately no SLR, but it's also 1/3 the cost of one. Here is what I've done with it so far.

Also, Adobe has a new program out that may help with some of these. It is still a Beta version, but that means it's free for now. Check it out: http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/lightroom/
