Ok I'll try to keep this short and informative and let the pictures speak for themselves.

All out of scale of 1 to 10, i'd give this kit an overall rating of 8.5/9 . The kit looks great but the reason i didn't give it a 10 was because of fitment issues with the side skirts. It took some time to line them up and installed. But i cant really complain since the kit was partially sponsored. (*thanks to TC Sportline) The rear lip is applied over the existing bumper. (if you have questions just, pm) Over all im very pleased with the outcome.

btw - my xB is sitting on Eibachs

Here's the TC kit on my xB, a little different look from my Nish/red Genie kit. Yeah simple kit, nice and low. by the way the blue one is Mr. Crossfire's car. :)

I don't want to say too much about this kit because I am in the same industry

I have seen Nilo's kit in person
Overall it look very nice

However, just some advice for you
By looking at the picture for the side skirt... you see those wavy look
It is caused by the screws you put on the kit

I would say remove the screw and use silicone instead because wavy = no good

scionMIX

Ill look into the silicon, thanks tim.

As mentioned b4, that is my only gripe. The fitment was OK for the sides.

maybe industrial double sided tape would work? i have noticed that if it is not screwed down then then door will rub it.

Thanks for the info about the alternatives and I will definitely look into them. I hear ya about the sides. Again having it perfect would be great, but honestly im not gonna really fuss over the sides. I'm happy with it and doesn't really bother me considering that it was sponsored including the painting. - Thanks

Reason I said silicone is because the industrial double stick tape are normally 1/8" thick or thicker. Apply that under the side skirt will increase the height of the side skirt... Chance for bottom of the door hitting against the side skirt is higher.

Silicone will have less thickness once dried, and since it was gel like form it react better with the uneven surface of inner fiberglass :D

BTW, I don't like to keep focus on the side not fit or doesn't look right...
But since it was part sponsored by TC Sportline, I think they should take care of this issue on your car (Free of cost). Reason is because your car = their product demostration...

Looks nice but I'm still holding out for Tim's new kit. I like it because its different and has some nice lines to complement the xB. I also like the fact that its not made of fiberglass but poly. But hey each to there own thats what modding a car is all about. Looksing good keep up the mod work I know I'm trying to

how does the silicone come off? what if i decide to change kits, will it mark up the paint?

yeah the side and rear fitments are not the best, I'm actually going to Nish's tonight to see if we can tweak it out a bit...but I guess I can't really complain too much for the 24 hour turnaround time for paint and fitment for the car to make it out to the show last Sat. Thanks to Ryan(greenbean) of cabe performance.

And Tim thanks letting us take a peek at the new kit last night man, it's gonna be sick bro...I'm getting the first one right??... :)

Tim, quick questions in regards to your TRFUSA kit

Is it a lip kit or a full bumper and will it be poly or fiber?

Ah man, I thought I was going to be the first one to show off Tim's new kit!

Actually... The first kit will probably be put on Gary's Lava because we are using it for test fitting. Second kit will be on Besk One's (Brian) xB because he already PAID for the kit. Now you guys can fight for who is going to be the third one

There are industrial solvents for the silicon. It will remove the silicon without hurting your paint. Sometime the paint on the side skirt will crack when you try to remove (pull) the kit that was silicone on, but it is better than screw 4~6 screws on your car to hold your skirt right?

Tim, quick questions in regards to your TRFUSA kit

Is it a lip kit or a full bumper and will it be poly or fiber?

The new TRF kit is lip replacement which will replace your frontlip, side skirts, and rear lip just like the Red Genie kit.

It is not going to be fiberglass nor polyurethane :D
I will be using pliable fiber for this kit. It is the best of both world

Pros about polyurethan is that it is stronger, harder to break, and better fitment.
Cons about the polyurethan is that it is heavy, cannot be repaired once cracked or break, cost higher, and more work in preperation.

Pros about fiberglass is that it is lighter, cheaper, easy to be modified, and easier to repair if break.
Cons about fiber glass is that it is weaker, easy to break, mostof the time need minor modification to fit.

Now, the PFRP I will be using
Pros about PFRP is 3 times stronger than regular fiberglass, flexible like polyurethane, can easily modified, repaired, and painted. Light weight, and also cost less than polyurethane.

Cons about this material is that it is a little heavier than fiberglass, still weaker than polyurethane, and might still have that minor fitting problem like fiberglass. (this problem can be solved if I put enough time and work into my product) :D

The main question I have with this kit is will it be available painted? The only paintshop by me does good work, but sweet jesus, they overcharge. When I had to replace the hood on my VW (kids through a brick at it on Halloween), they charged me 500 bucks to have it painted.

I am not sure if you are refering to the TC kit or the TRF kit
If you are asking about the TRF kit, sorry I will not offer painted kit
However I do have few bodyshop that I work with that can paint the kit at reasonable price. You may also contact Gary @ Nish Design, he can paint the kit for you.

$500, thats for a new hood and painted right? My recommendations is to ask/shop around for a new body shop. Im sure there are peeps in this site that can give some recommendations. Good luck.

Nope. That was just for the prime/paint. The main reason why the price was so high was that it was a black car, and black, surprisingly, is a very difficult color to match, even when going by the paint code, since black always tends to be one color more than others, and being slightly off can cause a noticable difference. I know that they weren't trying to rip me off since it took my cousin 12 tries to match the black on his Scirocco. But sadly, here in Stamford it's either that place or Maaco 2 towns over.
