Hahah you got a Wii, too! Awesome. I got mine on launch day in November and I downloaded the web browser when it came out on Friday.

Yeah, we've had the Wii for a while now and just got some high speed, routered internet in our house a few days ago. I need to get going on getting the Wii online!

Funny that I saw this on the main page. Im actually on my Wii typing this to you now. It takes a lot of effort to type sentences. haha. But good thing they have the keypad. Sometimes photos load quicker on here than my G5. My wiimote eats batteries worse than my 360 controller.

It has some Photo channel idk what for since i still have not used it but it must have some kind of use.

From the channel menu, go to the envelope icon on the bottom right corner. From there there will be three icons in the middle of the screen. Click the right one to open your address book. On the FIRST page, there will be a 16-digit code that says "console code". That's your Wii ID.

I said it in another thread, and I'll say it again. If you bought the Wii looking for graphics that'll beat the PS3's or even the 360's graphics, then you're in for a disappointment. I bought a Wii knowing full well that it wasn't going to be a PS2 killer, let alone a PS3 killer, I bought it because the games *gasp* looked fun to play *double gasp!* I'm not gonna lie, I still want a PS3, but there was no way in hell I was going to shell out that much money on launch day for horrible launch titles and potential bricked units during the first run. We all know Sony's long-running history with first runs of systems that sucked and they never got it right until the third or fourth issue of the same system.

I'm not planning on throwing the dough down for a 1080 screen anytime soon, so that's why I'm looking at the Wii. Nintendo also has a history of making games with extreme fun factor, despite the gore and graphics available on the other systems.

i bought the wii because i had the gamecube and love nintendo games. i knew the wii wasnt made for graphics since it can only run at 480p with components. wii is all about fun factor and great mutli player games.


already pre ordered mario party 8 and wii play which is suppose to have a game similar to duck hunt.
