im looking for some IN-CHANNEL vent visors, not really wanting to spend more than 150, and the cheaper the better.

but, besides price, i want something that will hold up for a good long time, easy to install, and can be PAINTED.

anyone have any sites, recommendations, etc.? (yes i tried searching, just didnt find anything that met my criteria)

thanks! :D

due to past experience with the in-channel visors I'm giving this warning. BE CAREFUL!! I have gone through 2 full sets of these. SInce they're in the window channel the window can and will get caught on them and cause them to break. I'f you're careful then you can aviod this. If there's something I'm doing wrong I don't know what it is because I've followed the directions exactly twice!! Just know that they don't hold into place very well. If there's a better way to put them in and have them NOT get caught on the window when I roll it up please let me know what it is I'm doing wrong. BTW: I got mine on Ebay for like less than $50. Also, on the passenger side (of my car anyways) I had to move that little nub thing into the right place because the spot they cut out for it in the visors is wrong.

also, because I got my first set on Ebay I thought I had been gyped so I got the second pair from a reputable online store. They were the exact same kind, with the exact same issues. I ended up spending about 30 bucks more on the second set.

I never had a problem with my wade ones, they were like $40 off ebay.

I have the Wades also,Year and a half no issues/problems here Just clean every contact point good with alchol wipes let it dry and install.I dont know if the new ones have the little dent for the anti rattle clip on the door but mine didnot have it so I had to remove mine.
Do not go with AVS brand they are real thin and break easy.

hmm.. mine are Ventshade brand...maybe I'll go for a third set and get the Wade kind...sounds like they work better. Anti rattle clips? is that what htose damn things are on the front doors?? I've always wondered that but never wondered enough to actually look it up.

I also have the Wade brand in all four side windows..no problem with breaking, etc. though the double stick tape is slightly loose after about a year's usage... also the front side visors tend to block a portion of the outside side mirrors...

I highly recommend them, bought them off e-bay from a relative of the owner...i'd also consider the Weathertech brand vent visors...

thats where i got mine...but they were about 1/2 too long on the front by the mirror so i had to dremel off the excess visor, they've lasted over a year with no problems, but going to upgrade to ESAMS very soon
