Default Funny story about billet grills...

About a week ago, I knew I was getting the xB and wanted to have all the after market stuff ready for when it came home. I ordered the billet grill through Mr. Grille.com and was really excited about the price being $180. So it arrived a couple of days ago and like a little kid at Christmas time, I unwrapped it and started pulling parts out. Now, to my amazment I found 2 lower grills and 1 upper grill in brushed aluminium, which was expected from reading there site. I could find the adapters nor the screws anywhere. So I tipped the box upside down and TA-DA!!!!!!

ZIP TIES!!??

I ____ you not. 12, 12" long black zip ties. I couldn't help but laugh so hard I think I accually urinated on myself. Dont worry, its just a little pee. But I thought you guys would enjoy this and hope that in my poor decision making adherance to common stupidity was something I could possibly be proud of. Thank you, thank you. Looking forward to the next meet.

First, I don't think this belongs in this forum.
Second, had you taken the time to search this site for info/opinions you would have known that they would come with zip ties. You get what you pay for.

Congrats on the xB purchase though.

Thanks on the congrats and really dont need you to point out my mistakes. I know that writing about my experiences might help someone else out. As for what you think, I didnt ask. Now, if you are a certified Scionlife.com protection agency, then kick me off. If not, go play some Blackjack because from my knowlegde of thier site, I saw no info on zip ties when ordering. So, enjoy life and keep you are head up. Cause your a special someone and need to be treated with love and respect.
