Default Ahhh crud I need opinions....

Ok all I have an 06 white scion with the stock black interior. My original plan was to do pink on the car as well(so far engine cover, petals.) because i like pink black and white together... So if i was to still do pink the interior seats would be pink and black and the lights behind the gages would be pink, the decal on the outside of my car going along the length of it would be pink, and if i can find these rota gt3's someone said were floating aorund in pink i would get those as well. However now im getting very discouraged because im not finding much in the way of pink and am now wondering if it would look weird. If im going to change it now would be the time since I do not have much done... what do ya'll think ? I mean i wanted a visably girl car but now im wondering if all the time and money trying ot find the things i need is worth it.

i think you should stick to the pink, and do all the accents but the wheels in pink.

I think pink wheels would look so weak, no matter what wheel you used. do the wheels in silver or black with polished lip. get some huge lip on your wheels. the sportmax 002 would be pretty decent and they are less than 100/wheel.

as far as the gauge is concerned, pull it apart and get some pink cellophane from hobby lobby or michael's. cut the cellophane to the size of the gauge face, and put it back together.

pink cold cathodes from oznium (the purple ends up fairly pink as well, and they're CHEAP, so get a few of each color to find the best for you)

take the badges off and paint them pink.

I would skip a pink side decal... too over the top.

^ i would agree with everything except the decal on the side and the rims. Using accents to bring out the pink would be wicked cool, but if done right and you only do a simple stripe similar to a mugen stripe or something like that, I think it would look clean. Doing a horizontal pink stripe with a very light grey or different shade pink shadow would look cool.

As for the rims, I didnt know ROTA had pink but I'm the one that suggested the SPUN wheels that come in pink already. I think with an agressive tire they could look pretty cool. plus they were fairly inexpensive if I remember.

Sine there aren't many pink rims out there to choose from I'd pick any good looking rim and just powdercoat it pink. That way you have many more rims to choose from.

Not a stupid q at all!!! It is easy, but scary at first.... For the center pieces, I open the easy bake oven to get a better grip, but start at the bottom of each piece, get a firm grip and pull straight out. They are held in with friction clips. The piece around the center vents is held on with screws, I suggest you search for threads on radio removal for better instructions, but that is the Reader's Digest version.
Same goes for the pieces at the dash corners. Too bad the strips in the doors are heat sealed...Those require some extra work....

I hope that helps some.

And at first I wasn't too fired up about the pink treatment, but with what I have seen, it is going to look real good!!!

I think the Spun wheels would look pretty good in pink. Let us know what you come up with.

The spun wheels are actually a good wheel you can go with plus they're pink to boot. I myself have the gold ones on a BSP xB. Just remember when you are color coordinating your car not too have too much of 1 color but an equal amount because it mike look funny. But hey thats only my opinion though.

I think the pink wheels will work... as long as you have the polished lip on them....

its your car do you wanna do with it. i agree with the post above the pink wheels with the lip would look good. its not an over dominating design that way and helps to accent the white still.
