I received an ABS X-2 full lip kit for Christmas and im loving it, but just a quick question. I was able to put the font and rear on without a problem, but since the kit came with no hardware i cannot put on the sides. I know i should have probably received hardware but does anybody know what kind should have come with it? i have read all the posts that talk about a z shaped bracket but i would love it if any of you have a picture of it or even a walkthru for putting the side skirts on. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!

 

who did you buy it from? I would see if you can get the hardware from them.

do you have the full kit or just the front lip?

 

Just the lip, didn't want to pay to have the full kit painted.

 

yeah i understand that for sure, im not sure what i am going to do about that

 

im also rockin the front lip. sporty, noticible, and cost effective. Might get diff rocker panels and a rear bumper this summer tho.

 

Do me a favor and take a pic of the hardware when you get it for me please. I've had this kit (well the X-1 on front and back and the X-2 on side) since last summer and have never been able to make the sides fit. I would appreciate knowing what is supposed to make it sit right.

i will post some pics when i get everything put on, the front and back went on with no problem, well, there was a bit of drilling but it went on 95% properly. When i get the hardware i will post pictures of that also. i have a tcm box and im sort of digging the black lip kit, we will see how it comes together once i get the skirts on but we will see. stay tuned...
