My TCM xB is set to arrive tommorrow in Lake City, Florida. I'm picking her up Wednesday. What color is the xB in the background? My bro swears it's gray. No gray on scion web site....

No, its Black Sand Pearl.

I owna BSP 5spd xB, and I swear it looks grey in the sun.. Its just the type of pearlescent paint that is mixed in. Its a Black gloss paint, with a hint of a grey-ish brown sand paint, and then the gloss coat. Only in direct sun, does it look like grey.. :D

I am 99% sure that the color your bro is talking about is Black Sand Pearl. I own an XB that is the same color, and when I bought it, I thought it was dark gray as well. When I got home, it turned out to be black with a little bit of gray pearl. I thought it was dark gray because when I saw it at the dealer, it was parked in the bright sun... and I loved the color.

I took a look at the picture and after making some adjustments im about 95% sure that is Camo not Black Sand Pearl... :D

Looks like Camo to me.

Theres no way its black sand pearl because the dark blue tC is a lighter color than black is so the blue would look weird if the black one looked grey, but the blue one looks perfectly normal. The xB is only a foot away from it so its not like its way in the back.

Gotta go with everyone and say its Camo. :)

Most def. CAMO, if they made a Dark Grey (PGP - xA) I would have gotten that.

I didn't get black because it doesn't actually look BLACK, just dirty black or very dark gray. So, regardless of what's in the picture above, the brother is fair in saying xBs come in dark gray. Even though the official name has "black" in it, it's really gray.

I am positive he saw either camo or a black xB. I have confirmed this with Scion's web site and those are the only colors even close.

I am convinced the picture above is camo paint. Looking at the pic I swear there is a slight green tint to the paint. Even though I still want the TCM I will have to get a better look at the Camo and Black in sun light.

When I bought my Xb I swore it was grey test drove the damn thing and all!! It wasnt untill I was signing the papers and saw that the key tag said it was Dark Green! I still swor it was grey until the sales man took me out after it was washed and I saw it in the sun!! It sure was Camo Green!!! But thats what I love about the camo! It Looks different in different lighting!!!

Camo is called - Dark Grayish Olive Metallic

and they call BCP - Bordeaux

So white w/purple pearl, even though it says "white" in the name, is really purple just because when the sun hits it it turns purple.

actually, i was at the scion dealership yesterday and i was so confused. i couldnt tell if this xb was a camo or a real dark gray. i looked at the tag on it. the one that says teh mpg and specs about upgrades on the car. it said it wasa dark gray. i forget the name of it. so the truth is, is that there is a new dark gray color for the xb. and it looks really nice too.

And for some reason, camo has been listed before as "dark gray-green".

It is as if the marketing department isn't always talking to production. Go figure.

Here's a better idea. Seeings as the OFFICIAL WEBSITE and everyone else in this forum say that there isn't a "New Gray" for the xB, Why don't you go there and take a picture of the car AND the sticker where you saw it say "Dark Gray". I Have a Camo, and it's regestered in WA as DARK GRAY. It's still camo though, not some new color.

i went back and looked at it today, and it said dark gray / camoflauge...

Im retarted haha, i just was like wow this looks dark gray, and i looked at the ticket and it said dark gray so i was too much in awe to be like wow it also says camo haha.
