Default I got a Motorola bluetooth car kit!

I have a tC, and I know that I'd searched the forums looking for people who had a bluetooth car kit for their cell phones and almost everybody that I saw who'd posted had gotten the Parrot. Well, I didn't. I got the Motorola IHF-1000, mostly cause I have a RAZR and the HS850 headset (which really has nothing to do with the car kit, but whatever) and I decided I'd stick with Motorola. I have to say that it's AWESOME. I'm just now tinkering with it, but I can say preliminarily that the included speaker's sound quality is excellent, even on the freeways, and people I talk to have no problem hearing me, either. It's pretty easy to pair with my phone and use, too. The speaker's mounted under the passenger side, in the footwell, and the microphone is routed up at the top of the windshield right next to the rearview mirror. Anyway, just thought I'd post this so people know.

Well thanks for posting it. I've been wanting a car kit for a while, and it looks like I'll be getting one with the new California laws.

I have a RAZR too. So good info :D

I just put my RAZR to speaker phone and BAM . I used to have a blue tooth ear piece but I think i found it too hard to use. Sometimes after a while you are not getting a phone call, it will turn off.

So what does it do? It will turn on everytime you turn on the car? What happen if you answer the phone regularly? Does it turn off the speaker?

probably yet another state with idiot politicians who think getting cell phones out of the hands of drivers is the answer, which its not

the distraction comes from the conversation

Well if it is out of their hands they can't be txt messaging people. I rode back from a roadtrip for work with this kid who has an ENV and my god we were getting passed by semi's and I was getting sick from all the speeding up and slowing down. Every 5 min he had that damn thing up on the wheel. I didnt have enough evidence to get him fired though. But that is coming soon enough.
