what's the largest size monitor that can be fit into the headrest of an xa? also, how do you guys feel about roof mount monitors in an xa? i like them but since the car is small i thought it might look a little goofy. let me know and thanks.

so.... if i wanted to inset monitors into some fiberglass, all i need is the ones that are sold as headrest monitors right?

what are decent ones for ~$200 apiece? size should be 6"-7"

hey cherrybox, any chance you can post up a pic of your monitors? i think 6' is the smallest i'll accept, but i seriously wonder if 7 can be done and if it'll look ok since i can get them for a steal. also, what brands are you guys using? i'll probably go with some cheapy ebay screens since i'll rarely ever use them.

I did 7" in my headrests and they turned out great!, I do have the leather package and it makes the headrest a little bigger.

It was just over $200 for both (7" tft )

I also took the rear headrests and put them in the front and the front in the back, (the back are a little bigger. Any way here they are:

The leather was a dealer option, I think it was around $1800.

I put the screens in myself, those are the headrests from the rear, if you squeeze the rails a bit they will fit into the front and samw with the rear you just have to pull them apart a bit. They fit really tight, but that is fine with me, it keeps the kids from moving them around.

looks really good dugzilla. i dont think my headrests are as big as yours though, so i think 7' screens are out of the question. i guess it'll have to be 6 for me.

I don't think that they would have worked without the leather either, at least not without looking like crap.

one of the perks with working around cars and guys who like cars. there's always cool little parts for sale around here. turbos, in dashes, you name it. wword got around to a guy in the shop that i was looking to get some monitors, and he offered em up. too good.
