Default Just got my Greddy kit...

Hey all... just got my kit about 3 days ago and cant wait to get it in. I ordered an oil pan for the tapping, and im waiting for my gauge pod to come in... should be shipped by Jan 5. My question is, I've seen a few pics of guys with the HKS SSQV installed and was wondering how the install went. The Greddy kit shows no location where it should go. All I know is where I've seen it on the piping. My main concern is ofcourse not making holes where they shouldnt be. I've been trying to google it, but havent really found a walk through I can use. Help! =o)

In that case, a good tune, good freeflowing exhaust, and at least 8 PSI, a good set of tires and your set to walk on a vast % of cars in your local community....IF you know how to drive right.

Just remember the i/c piping that goes to the throttle body. The 90 degree side is gonig into the T/B and other side (joint that is less than 90 degrees) is coming from the i/c piping side. Now go weld on the BOV adpater to where you want it located on the piping and have the piping ready when you install the turbo kit.

You're probably will need to buy an alumniun adapter from ebay to weld on the BOV for your HKS. Make sure that you don't get a steel adapter.

Congrats man!! As far as the BOV, it was recommended to me that the flange for it be welded closer to the throttle body side. As far as which side of the piping actually goes to the throttle body, it is the side with a 90 degree bend, not the 45 degree (give or take) bend. I had a post about the install for my GReddy kit you may want to look at....

*edit sorry to repeat what DK said, didn't see it =P

The BOV flange I went with was the ATP modular flange. ALUMINUM of course. You can switch your BOV out to an HKS or Greddy flange on the fly without having to cut and re weld a new flange. Pretty convenient if you want to switch up your BOV later on in the year.
