Anyone rolling out to this show?? Should be a good time; I think I'm gonna enter the Tuner War competition. You can show you car and still be eligable for a trophy w/out gettin into the high end stuff...

I talked with Doug Koozer and got a discount for Scion Life members for registering your car for the Tuner War Show in Harrisburg, PA on Feb 17!

Doug writes:

we will be offering a discount code: Scion which will be :SCIONLIFE upon registering your vehicle it will save you $5 off registration unless you have a bunch coming and call me me to give me a number. The amount of cars will determine the discount. Feel free to call me at 717-350-2306.

Also, you get free entrance to the show (duh) but you also get up to three add'l tickets for $10 each (up to 3). That's $6 off each ticket for the show.

He also went on to say that, since we are an all-scion community, it is actually better for us to register under the Scion Challenge class sponsored by Scion as your chances for winning are better and there is a great opportunity for free swag from them, even if you feel your car may not be ready for the big time! Whereas if you enter the Tuner War class, you compete against hundreds more cars. BTW, Doug said last year there were around 60 scions. If you have any questions, you can check out the website or call Doug (see above) for club discounts, etc.

Lastly, we'd love to hear to hear who's interested in showing up as the more people register, the prize amounts can be larger. Doug was saying maybe $1,000 for first place in the Scion class, and they have up to 5th place...

what happened to you?

 

front end is messed up. i lost traction and went into a curb, then into the back of a big-rig . i need a new bumper, 2 fenders, hood, lip, 2 wheels, front suspension, 1 head light, and a few other things.

this happened over a week ago, and my car is still sitting at the body shop

But us Mid-Atlantic peeps don't like the Northeast forum J/K! Most of us don't go to the forums for other regions that often, at least I don't. But we can combine our efforts to make the show more... fun and interesting, to say the least, lol.
