Hello newbie to the scionlife website and I apologize if this topic has come up already. But when I was researching the tC, I came across a dealer bought and installed accessory made for the '05 tC. It was an aftermarket antenna that basically looked like a small block. It was only 25 bucks and I'm not into the s2000 antenna...so I was wondering if anyone picked up the accessory. I noticed only certain dealers would have it. Is there any place I could pick one up?

that's for satellite... the stock antenna will still be there... it's just another antenna.

Yup.... it's for satellite radio.... do you have satellite radio? I've seen a lot of tC's with satellite radio that also have a small block next to the stock antenna.

 

get an S2000 antenna they looks much better than the huge oem antenna.

 

some of us don't want the s2k...
i myself would rather run stock than to stick a honda part on my car.

some of the lexus antennas look nice.

I'd have to agree. It would be a good idea to not have a Honda part on your car. There's just too much fascination with Honda stuff. (Not just where I live, but everywhere). Why draw attention to yourself with Honda parts? I might look at lexus antennas like Squall mentioned.

 

The funny thing is i bet the honda antenna's and the lexus/toyota antenna's are all made in the same little antenna factory out in japan or china..It's just an antenna who cares..

 

Yea, but its not like the Honda antenna has some special Honda shape of VTEC or Honda logos all over it

antennas are antennas... It doesn't matter which one you get as long as you like it. I do however suggest getting rid of the long stock antenna,.lol

 

^^ Thats the idea stock one looks to ugly.. besides is there any good looking lexus antenna that fits the tC?

 

Can someone post pix of the lexus antenna? I wanna see how it looks compared to the S2K antenna.
