My Xa has been in and out of the dealership with a trans problem...im having a problem when i shift form 2nd into 3rd...it is a relly had shift with a vibrarion in the sifter... just wording if anyone eles has the same probems...

i'm also having problems with shifting, sometimes it won't allow me to go into gears. even at complete stop, i can't go into 1st sometimes. it's been the same since i bought the car, and at about 10,000 miles i switched over to the trd short shifter.

 

I've only got 10K miles on mine.....but so far it's solid and baby-butt smooth with no strange noises.

 

I hate my shifter, but I deal with it.

Mine is just a bit notchy though, I never have problems going into gear.

 

maybe it's just notchy like yours and i'm being too delicate with the thing. either way, when it works, i love the short shifter. it's nice and solid.
