indeed that, was wondering if anyone on SL had some more pics of it (thats where I first saw it).

 

its just a replica of the kaminari kit...just the rear has dual exhaust exits

 

I thought the front air dam looked familiar, but I didnt think I had seen the name. Guess that explains that, thanks redline.

PURE....ur better off buying the kaminari kit..its more pricey but is a better quality kit...

 

I actually had a quick question on that, while we're on this topic, but it looks like the kaminari kit is about ~1300ish shipped, I was wondering how much more will I be dropping to have it painted / installed (and done right)? Give or take obviously.

depending on what you are going to do....depends on the color 2....like Flint Mica going to take a good body shop to match because its the color in itself......

i would say on the quality of the painter that does the work and them putting it on you can look to another 500-1000

 

I imagine mine (SW) would be pretty easy to match, $500ish is what I had in my head - so I guess I wasnt too far off.

Kaminari Replicas - Stink

 

Yup. You could probably expect a good fit and finish with the real Kaminari kits though. Im a HUGE subscriber in the theory that you get what you pay for. I would much rather pay full price for something I know is gonna be good quality.

 

Believe me, I'm farrrrr from the type of person who would buy something "because its cheaper", its cheaper for a reason. It pretty much comes down to buy something for $1300 or give away $700...... not too tough of a decision ;]

which would be better..... urethane kaminari kit and then make an additional exhaust cutout on the leftside for duals, or just get a shop to fit the duraflex KR-S kit?

 

the body kit that is on the white car IS the kaminari kit, go to TUNERZINE.COM, he is a featured car, a while back but he is there.

all he did was make the cut outs, this body kit only comes with single exhaust outlet i believe.

 

then kaminari it is. is there any issue with cutting urethane to make the 2nd cutout? will fiberglass/body filler stick to urethane?

when did you get duals? or are you plannin on it?

 

urethane can be cut out very easily, however i dont know how it is with bondo or glass.

if you look at the white tC, his rear bumper isnt exactly "show" quality.
