Default Speedo Needle

I searched and could'nt find anything on this question. Does anyone know what other needle would fit our speedo? I just recently got the bbist gauge and its kind of hard to see the needle. I would want a needle that lights up, like the tach and the gas. Any info would help.
Here is a pic of the speedo, see how its kinda hard to see it.

How about this: Find an xB tachometer needle and use it in place of the black speedo. needle. It will be bit shorter and probably not as bright. But it'll be better than what you have now...

No, I don't know where you can pick one of those up...

You could paint it with UV Reactive paint or maybe Luminescent paint (Glow-in-the-dark).

Do you know what colors the glow-in-the-dark paint comes in?

I'd wonder how visible that would actually be... most glow paint only glows for a few hours after being charged. It might work, I'd be inclined to think that even painting the needle white might make a difference, at least the light that speedo is putting out could be reflected better off of a light color.

I don't but you'd be better off with a lighted needle or maybe white might work. If you put LEDs in the trim ring aimed at the face you'd be able to see a white needle
