Default ATTN: xB owners, I have a question...

please go look at the lower interior panel located on both sides ( I call them kick panels) to know your looking at the right thing- im talking about a piece thats connected to the door sills and follows up to the dash board. ...

are you still with me? now answer me this-is thier any nut/bolt attached to the thread that sticks of of the panel? on my xB thier are none. on either side I have these 1/2 " lock threads sticking out- and Im now wondering the purpose of this?!?!

my Moms Camry has a simular setup but with a cap that treads on. I am asking this now because I saw they xA also has a cap as well...

Am I going crazy or is my xB missing these?

Thanks,
Matt

ATTN UnFocused:(in a deep God like heroic voice) I am not really sure what you are talking about, could you be more specific, not saying that you didnt.. I am not very smart when it comes to cars.. I went out to my car are look around the door sills and did not see anything stickint out.

there are no nuts or caps that go on them. the kick panel has a hole for the stud to go through. next to the hole is a plastic tab with groves on it. the tab acts like a locking cam (the groves on the tab catch the threads of the stud), keeping the kick panel in place.

if you are not carefull when removeing the kick panel you will break off the tab.

to those that do not understand where the kick panel is...
when sitting in the front seats. the interior panel by the hinges of the front doors down by your feet is the kick panel.
