Bill aneis 08-11-2004, 07:50 PM That's exactly what my tC owners' manual says *NOT* to do. B_Sqrd 08-11-2004, 07:52 PM I had the same thing happen to me, and I used an old toothbrush to get the wax out. It might take a couple of times to get it completely clean. Use the toothbrush, then hit the squirters, repeat until clean. Good luck B Sqrd WheelSee 08-11-2004, 07:58 PM That's exactly what my tC owners' manual says *NOT* to do. that was a useful post...very constructive... what does it say to do? ~wC wonmyxB 08-11-2004, 08:17 PM That's exactly what my tC owners' manual says *NOT* to do. that was a useful post...very constructive... what does it say to do? ~wC I thought I was being helpful. I would also know what it says, I'll check my xB manual. Otherwise I would've told you. It just says not to use a pin. I wasn't trying to be an ___ about it, I was actually trying to be helpful. Didn't want you to break your little squirty jobbies. XBman 08-12-2004, 03:18 AM yeah a tooth brush will work. This very thing has happened to me not only on my Scion XB but on my Festiva too. I ended up using a staple that was bent straight...it worked a lil bit still not the same :( I'll try the toothbrush tomorrow... ~wC wonmyxB 08-12-2004, 07:01 PM Will I hope you get them to work right, I was just trying to help with some info. It happen to me a long time ago on my 91 Z24 but that time I used a toothpick. Bill badbasic 08-13-2004, 05:39 AM horse-haired detail brush wont scratch like a toothbrush. its also great for removing wax around vinyl decals and pinstripes Jordan 08-20-2004, 04:47 PM Q-tips work |
