I was thinking of adding one to my setup, but I've never seen one in use. Anyone have pics or comments? Thanks in advance.
I've installed them before, and it's on and off with the reception. They are pretty much like rabbit ears for the house tv, so reception differs depending on your location. The usual stations do come in pretty clear though (surprising to me).
Yup, bought that one off L4rry_B1rd. Thanks again for the smooth transaction. Anyone that sees anything listed by him for sale shouldn't hesitate to buy.
I've yet to get reception on channels 2 and 5 here in the ATL market. Other than those two, like WhiteBlazer01 said the reception is hit and miss. There are times that I'd swear that I was watching dish or cable and there are other times that I get to enjoy a billard of nothing but snow inside my xA.
The model that I have is the Eclipse TVR105 for use with Eclipse head units. I would recommend it if you can buy it used or sharply discounted. Seems like it's around $300 new which is way too much.
I have no experience with any of the other TV tuners on the market.
