Hi i plan on adding a exhaust cutout to my scion..but wont be purchasing it for month or so..however i plan on buying all the performance parts now while i have some spare money..so im wondering how wide the Spipe is not at the flange where it meets the header but a few inches after that.

dam. str8 I know it is the deff of rice but its going to be an electric one so its not always going to be open.

 

Where do you plan on welding it in? My brother has one on his Turbo tC right after the s-pipe on the midpipe. Thing sounds sick with the turbo! NA I think it will be to loud and raspy.

 

i plan on putting it on the s pipe (will be trickey install becaus the pipe is not straight) so i dont have to run it after the cadillac converter..also thats where the pipe gets smaller..i want the exhaust out..quick...LOUD! just to freak people out

 

I dont think thats to good of a idea. 1. theres like no room for it 2. the heat could make the oil temps higher 3. I know I wouldnt want black crap all over everything. Get a aftermarket midpipe without a cat in it and weld it in after the s-pipe.
