Well after almost a month and a half I was finally able to find a local dealer who had a automatic tC for me to demo. I was able to test a white automatic at around 8 PM.

I was amazed at how smooth and quiet the car rode. I know its a "brand new, perfectly tuned car" but I felt like I was riding on a pillow! (or maybe I was just too giddy over actually driving the tc to notice anything ) The car rode quietly with only a quick "zipping" sound from the exhaust, nothing loud and annoying. I was surprised at how well the car slipped into the gears. I currently drive my parents '93 and '98 Toyota Previas which u feel a small jolt when it catches each gear. I tried to pay carefull attention and I could barely feel a thing. Did I mention the car is sreally quick?!? Sneaky quick... We had a long straightaway on a slight uphill and I put the pedal to the metal to see how it would handle... the motor stayed quiet, didnt overrev, and the car jumped up in speed very quickly. The turning radius of the car was excellent, much sharper then I was used to. The gas was "peppy" and the break was very responsive. It took me about 5 mins of getting use to just lightly tapping the breaks. The passenger seating was incredible. My dad hopped in the back and told me to put the front seat as back. I was comfortable in the drivers seat and he still had planty of room to put out his legs. The only thing I didnt get to see was the interior lighting, the dealer said he thought it was connected to the cd player unit (whihch had been takin in for replacement or sumthin)

Afterwards I talked to my dad and tried to find out what he liked and disliked about the car. He just said, "Honestly, I cant find a thing wrong with it!" SNAP!

Now I need to decide wat color to get it in... I was big into the black before, but I saw it in person for the 2nd time last night and it didnt really do much for me. I really liked the white, but am just afraid it will always look dirty. I saw an Indigo Ink last night that had just been delivered and it looked HOT! I saw picturess of it online and never really considered the color but it looked great in person. I still want to see a Flint Mica and see if it lives up to the hype.

Well the deal with my dad is that I can get the car if I finish in the top-20 of my golf tournament next week, it should top of on my other performances this summer... So hopefully I will be able to order it on the morning of the 21st!

White and Silver (and probably Azure) will look clean even when dirty, much moreso than the darker colors. Indigo Ink is my second favorite color, after Black Cherry Pearl, of course.

 

A car for a top 20 finish?? Wow make sure to tel you dad he's really nice.

 

I say the same thing to everyone who can't decide on color choice, MUST check out the AP before you decide on any other color.
My first time saw the tC is in BSP, not very impressed, got the "so what, another coupe" kind of feeling. then the second time I saw it, that's an auto AP, the color looks good, especially under sun light. the blue is much lighter compare to honda civic light blue color, and looks much more upscale compare the SS tC sit next to it. it's that AP tC made me decided to get a tC instead of xA.

well...my dealer can't get the AP for 3 months, and I can't wait. so get the IIP instead, I love the IIP color too, but just miss the AP a little bit.

saw a hot chick the other night driving a FM tC, man she's pretty, make the tC look pretty too...or the tC make she look pretty...too bad i was not driving my tC that night, and man, i sware to drive my tC everyday or night from now on. anyway, FM is worth to check it out too.

 

I love my IIP Don't go with Flint Mica! Everyone and their brother is driving FM (Actually Flint Mica is really hot also, you should go with IIP or FM)

 

Oh man you had to drive a Previa, I'm sorry to hear that. That is the #1 most bizarre vehicle ever made if you ask me.

 

ya the previa sucks to drive but its a car... and its safe so it wasnt too bad as a new driver. and its not just a top 20 finish. I had to play tournamants in Utah, Vegas, 2 in NY, and now one back home to get it. I finished in 5th place in NY so that really helped me towards getting the car Ya I wish the dealers could have one of each color at the same time, its tough to decide when u cant compare them side to side. I saw the black, white, and indigo last night, and I cancelled out the black from my decision, but I have still never seen a BCP, FM, or AP which I would like to see very much. I do like the AP I think it looks classy but it just looks too much like a chick car to me, like driving a light blue Miada.. I mean u know that its either a chick drivver or the guy who drives it is ___ But we will see I wont know IF I am getting it until after the 20th of this month. ok last note, but I think an Indigo Ink with black/ graphite rims with a silver trim would just be the hottest car in teh world... id love to see what that looks like

 

well i hope you get the top 20 finish regardless, a tC would be a good prize for anything, I'm playing in a 4 man team scramble for work on Sat, we just want to beat one team (cause one of the guys on that team is a real D!ck all the time at work), good luck man

 

ya too bad ur dont live in Cali... I could ringer for u. I am playing a tournament scramble with my coach and some friends at La Costa in like a week and another at Strawberry Farms out here in Irvine, so it should be cool. My coach splits the pot with me if we win anything so it could be a great way to get soem accessories for the car!
