Default Anybody made a fix for dealer-drilled ft. lic. plate hole?

I'm one of the unfortunates who had their front bumper drilled out for the license plate mounting. Poooooorrrr job, no mounting piece used, just jagged holes from the sheet metal screws that were used to hold the dealer plate directly on to the bumper.
I never use a front plate, and though the holes are small, they look like crap.
Anybody got a workable fix for them???

aside from filling the holes, sanding it down, and shooting the bumper, I can't think of any way to make it unnoticeable...

you could, however get a piece of clearbra, cut it to match, spray it with TCM spray paint from www.paintscratch.com , and it would nly be subtle... you'd want to take an exacto knife or dremel to the edges of the holes first, and make sure that they have no lip...

Hmmm...not a bad idea.
Good idea on the Dremel, too - the edges of the lip would definitely need some smoothing.

On a square car. >_< They had to redraw the damn hole.

I wish I had pics, because it looked more horrendous than I could possibly ever state. Schaumburg Toyota blows. =6

Default ....HOLES....

I have seen a few solutions. There are a few decorative emblims that go into the holes, like wings that screw into those two holes.
Better than that, I have seen, on this site, body colored screws that go into the holes.
Keep looking around.
Can anyone post a photo of what I amtalking about?
I'll post photos if I can find them again.

That's more like what I was originally thinking, xBHawk, but I'm definitely open to any suggestions. Pics would be great!

Hehe....mine was drilled crooked too. There are guides to help them drill it, I guess they had a couple too many cold ones that day.

I wish I could have had the chance to ask them NOT to drill those holes, it broke my heart to see the dealers cheap little black plate frame hanging on the front bumper....

Its not like the car needed the bracket for plates that where going on or anything... Because I still had to export / Import the car Into Canada and then spend a week getting paper work done and inspections etc .... then a week later I got plates.... and in that time I could have found a much better way to go about displaying a front plate.

Such a shame....

if you want to go the bumperplugs route, and still think you might have use for a spraycan of your color, you could do these yourself. you could find just the right size plug at autozone or another parts store. they might be called 'pop rivets' 'trim fasteners' or 'little plastic screw type thingies'

Some great ideas, guys - thanks.
I just went on to the bumperplugs.com website, and was trying to decide if $25 was "reasonable" for fixing my holes. Then I got to the checkout and saw they wanted another $9 for shipping!
These guys must be comedians!
