Default Buying a tc..should I wait?

Hey guys,

I am wanting a tc, and will probably get one here soon, but prob not for a month or so at least. (getting new job..ect..)

By waiting until the end of the year (which is already a few months away!), does anyone think it would matter on the price much at all?

Meaning, I know how dealers are most of the time itching to get the older vehicles off the lot before the new fiscal year so they don't have to pay for vehicles sitting around. Does anyone think that they would lower the prices any more on the tc's, or would it make any difference?

I guess I am shooting in the dark on that one, but I thought I would ask.

Thanks,

_roger

I wouldn't expect it to make a difference. The tC came out in June, and almost everyone on this website who has a tC had to wait to get theirs.

It looks like the demand is far outweighing the supply right now, so the price will probably stay the same.

I would wait till 2006, they seem to have lot of problems and maybe by then, they will be fixed....who wants to be sitting at a dealer every week!

Price? You might get a free 6 disc CD player, like they did with the XA.

base price on the scions is to little and dealers wont drop the price on them at all i would imagine, its not a money making car, well atleast that much. If you look at the invoice and then the msrp its not that much different, even kbb says they suggest to buy the car at the dealer asking price and no lower and they always have lower prices you should shoot for that are dealer reasonable for other vehicles. The only thing you might be able to do is maybe get a free dealer accessory like someone said about the 6 cd changer or free floormats or something, trying buying the demo car if you want a lower price a year or so down the road considering toyota NEVER rebates their vehicles. Heck look at the celica which they are pulling from the line, THAT doesnt even have a rebate on it!

yea, you wont get any price discount, look at the xB's and xA's, they've been on sale for almost a year, still no price discount. you probably wont even have any luck getting freebies. However, you wont have to wait like a month or 2 like you to right now to get exactly what you want. Oh and btw, if you're financing, the interest rate will probably be higher by then as well.
