quick question, if i decide to go with 18x7.5 inch rims, am i gonna need to use spacers at all. I will prolly use the one ton garage spacer on the rear to spread the rear end out more but am i gonna need anything on the front. And what size tires do i need so that i stay as close to stock size as possible. i searched for it, not thoroughly though, i will as soon as i post this but just asking in case i dont find anything. I had originally planned on going with 17 inch wheels but found some sick looking 18's that i wouldnt mind having. I know the ride will be rougher but im used to driving in "tuner" cars so im used to a rough ride. Thanks!

Whether you need spacers depends on which wheels you get. Backspacing (the measurement from the mounting surface to the back lip of the wheel) varies slightly. Most manufacturers try to make their wheels fit as many vehicles as possible. The only way to know for sure is to try them on -- or trust someone like TireRack who have already test fit everything -- or go with something someone else is running on their car.
As far as tire size goes, you want 205/35-18's. Your speedo will be off only 0.2 mph.

yeah thanks alot. I will prolly end up going with the 18's unless something comes up, like financial reasons, than maybe just 17's. But anyway thanks again. :D

I've got 18's on mine, with 215/35 Toyo tires. Definitely low profile, and with TRD springs, the ride is far from "cushy". But, it's no where near as stiff as my SRT-4 was, with Eibach springs and front/rear STBs. I seem to remember that the 215/35-18 tire would give a speedo reading very close to stock. If you go with 17's, I think the tire size needs to be 205/45.

sick looking boxx. I love how the xb looks with 18 inch rims, it fills in the wheel well real nice. Im also lowering my boxx, getting the tein stech springs and i just saw a boxx on the picture forums with the stech springs and and 17's like the ones i was looking at getting (black with polished lip) before i found some great looking chrome 18's. But after seeing the picture of the other bsp xb im kinda debating on 18's or 17's. the main thing is that the 18's will be rougher than the 17's. Another quick question, when you had your srt-4, what kind of fuel did they recommend you use. I was looking at getting one but my dad said they use premium (93 octane) gas, so thats why i got the xb instead.

Premium all the way. That car was crazy fast stock, and for $20K you can't beat it with a stick. With the Eibachs and STBs, that car handled like it was on the proverbial rails, but pretty bumpy for the street. I was averaging around 21-22 mpg, but I'm no lead foot. If I was into the turbo more, and used the a/c more, the mileage probably would've dropped into the high teens. However, it was comforting to know that all I had to do was mash the go pedal and that car would flat out fly. Very big wake up call going from the SRT-4 to the box, as far as hp and torque goes, but I'm enjoying the heck out of my box!

Being practical, I went with TRD 1" lower springs & 18" x 8" Dante chrome mags with 215/40 Hankook Hi Performance tires. Looks low, the tires fit well in the wheelwell, no scrubbing & no hitting the spoiler on gnat ____. Very practical ride height. I got all (3) Hotchkis bars as well. It handles like a go-kart an the ride is decent as well.
