Send it back. For $60 you should get a nice piece of metal.

Ahhh the headers are still $550. I was hoping the price would have dropped a little.

I think this price adjustment means that the "Year end sale/clearance" was just the prelude to the sale for the rest of the year.

Also just noticed that they are using the same dyno sheet and specs from the 05-06 tC as for the 07 tC. Although the specs might be similar, this is misrepresentation. The 07 intake says "this intake gives..." We do not know how much this intake gives because there is no dyno for it!

im not talking about the price, im talking about the quality of their products. The same goes for their ETD's.

My first PM:

Hi,

I purchased a diversion panel from one of your sponsors (precisionmuffler) and i received the item all scratched up. There was blue vinyl protectant on the panel however about 1/3 of the cover came off. Thats where the scratches were. And sadly it was the top side, if it was the bottom side I wouldn't care. Just wondering if I can ship it back for a new one.

Thanks

MMW response:

You should call the shop you bought it from and ask them if you can return it etc..
I cant help you here because the exchange of money was not through us.
If you bought it through us i would be able to help.

Thanks..
Leo.

My response:

but wont it jsut reflect back onto u? whats the point of my driving down to milpitas and then gabe will have to ship it to u. Wont it just make more sense to save us all time and money and have it shipped to u?

MMW response:

the transaction was done thrugh them, you will have to go through them.

ummm yeah ok?

The point is, If you bought it from us you can return it to us.
if you bought it through a dealer of ours they have to deal with the problem. Shiping charges for one, the dealer will have to take care of it back and forth, thats all costs of doing business. if you buy shoes from Nordstroms you dont go return it to Nike. The exchange of money was through our dealer and you, not MMW.

If you would like to flip the bill t send it back to us and back to you then its not a problem to send it back to us. This is the responsibility of the dealer.

You obviously are missing the point here. The product came from you correct? Gabe didn't make the diversion panel. It wasn't Gabe's fault that I received my panel all scratched up. Is it? Why should Gabe suffer the cost? I already told u I would pay for shipping to you.

and this is your response?

"it was not nice for you to paste everything on the forum.."

are you ashamed of what you said or how you handle things? I would be.

jesus christ, mmw, did you guys not see the boxman thread? im so sick of terrible customer service. the kid's got a panel MADE BY YOU, THATS SCRATCHED. an EIGHTY DOLLAR PIECE OF METAL. he sends EIGHTY FVCKIN DOLLARS YOUR WAY FOR A PIECE OF METAL. tssh....you guys think you're gonna do business here? not with this kind of customer service. hell if you guys were some big huge national chain (ie. like you said nordstrom's) then this practice would be acceptable. BUT YOU'RE NOT. outside of a few car circles, WHO THE HELL HAS HEARD OF YOU GUYS. YOU'RE NOT A NATIONAL CHAIN, DON'T TRY AND ACT ALL ARROGANT LIKE ONE. TAKE THE DAMN KID'S PIECE BACK, AND SEND HIM A NEW ONE. 80 bucks for a fvckin piece of metal....you've already ripped him off enough as is.

2 months ago, i bought a radio from ALPINE. But i bought it through my local dealer. did alpine make me go through my local dealer to sent it back for warranty service?! no, they had me send it directly to THEM. WHY? Because you make life a hassle and a pain in the fvckin @ss when you make people deal with a middleman. You're a SMALL company. GET OVER IT. Let him send his **** back to you guys.

I'll end my rant with one short note...you guys don't have a good reputation on scionlife for two reasons...exorbitantly high prices (ie. tC headers - thats why i bought mine from a member and not through you guys) and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. thank you for reinforcing my second point. congratulations. TRD do yourself a favor and start a negative buyer/seller experience thread when you get the chance. this **** ____es me off.

MMW=SMALL COMPANY, GET OVER IT.

We are not shy.
Its not our responsibility to take care of that problem.
Not to say if our dealer sends back the product we wil not fix it.
It's that our dealer must take responsibility and take care of this problem through the proper channels.

Also there is nothing to say that the product was damaged through shipping.
As we have to UPS requires us to take the product to them and let them review the product to see if they will refund us for the product being damaged.

This is the process of everything.
We never said we would not fix the problem, we just said it needs to go through the proper channels.
