Default HELP! (question on rims/tires, need info by tomorrow please)

Alright, i'm planning on getting some wheels tomorroow, 17" Manara Sport Vr5's with 42 offset. I REALLY wanna get a 45 profile tire to increase the ride a bit, this will obviously fit alright, i did the math and it's only a .5 increase in overall height of the wheel/tire combo...BUT, #1 Will this look good, and #2 if i DO go with a 2 inch drop eventually, will these still fit and look good, or should i go with 40 profile tires instead?
sorry this is all new to me, i did a brief search but didnt find enough info on this...i'm getting these tomorrow, so please brign on the info!
thank you ALL so much!

EDIT: THE OFFSET IS 42, NOT 24

Im not sure if they will work with a drop or not, but www.edgeracing.com has a Falken Ziex Ze-512 in a 205/45WR17 wich they have listed for the xA/xB. The tire is $90 ea. Just offering up a suggestion, sorry I cant help you with the drop part.

Not fully sure what you are asking? If you ment you can fit 45's onto 1 of your 17x7 that you could on your other 3 then yeah I think so. If you ment like if the xA could fit them then the xB should beable to, then yeah I also think so. Sorry if this does not help.

Thats a 215/40R17 so if you went with a 205/45R17 the size diff would only be about .3". So that might give you a idea, I will keep looking & see what else I can find. Also what size 45 are you looking for? a 205 ora 215? A 215/45R17 is cheaper then the 205/45R17 at edgeracing. Also they have it listed as a 24.7" tall tire. The stock ist in japan runs a 185/65R15 tire, so I think the bB would share the same tire size. If so thats a stock hight of 24.5". So yeah running that 215/45R17 would be a little taller then the stock japan size tire, but we here in america got a 185/60R15 tire for some reason so thats even smaller.

Awesome, thanks for your help man
i'm not sure what tire size however, i THINK it's the width is 215 on the 45's, and 205 on the 40's..im planning on getting the 45's assuming all goes well. I'll swing by pepboys tonight or tom morning and see if i can pick up some spacers for the wheels..thanks again for the info, and feel free to post more as u find it

onece again, everybody is trying to use Honda wheels on their car. You gotta stop this madness. It is driving me crazy. We don't drive hondas. +38 (or +39 if you have steelies.) is stock. If you don't like the stock offset, why do most people here insist on getting a higher offset? If you do it right, No spacers are needed. Get somethnig in a +35 to +25 depeding on the wheel. No spacers will be needed and the wheel will set flush with the fender.
