My g/f and her sister were on there way home yesterday and they had just turned onto a main road, she maybe had got up to 20mph, and some dumb ___ pulled out in front of them, going the opposite way, and just stopped. She tried to stop but it was to late and she hit them. There were 3 people in the other car and they cant seem to figure out who was driving for some reason. I snapped a few pix of the box and its not bad or good. The driver side door wont open all the way and the front is busted. I will get some more pix Monday I hope.

Everybody was ok, one of the people in the other car went to the hospital but it was not serious, pride I think.

I remember those airbags..... for some reason I get flash backs when lookin at the pics.... glad all are okay. At least the box looks repairable.

 

yeah i was glad that neither one of them were wearing their glasses. it didnt sound good when the guy pulled it up on the flatbed to take it away, and it was stuck in drive.

Sorry to hear about the accident, but the main thing is that no one was seriously hurt.

There are little cords attached to the lower grill side covers in case they pop out. I didn't know that.

Recently my manager was gassing up an xA and was hit as he pulled out onto the road . He was doing about 5mph and the truck that hit him was doing <20mph. No airbags were deployed and everyone was fine, in fact, the truck didn't have the slightest bit of damage. Because he was hit at an angle though, the frame was just barely bent and it totaled the car.

If the car was hit at any kind of angle (which appears to be the case) there is a good chance that it has frame damage. If that's the case, put you're name down for the 1st new xB that hits the ground in your area. Turn a bad situation into a great one!

Reguardless, I'm glad everyone was OK.

 

Glad no one was hurt....but it's pretty fishy if no one in the other car is claiming to be driving.....HUM

 

im going to take the police report over the the shop tomorrow so I will try and get some better pix
