Bennet wanted to kill him but was under orders not to.

Peter had a perfect opportunity to kill him during the first battle. As soon as he went invisible, he could have telekinetically ripped his frickin head off. But he didn't have that killer instinct yet.

the scar on Peter the Future's head could be from Hiro's sword. It has some undefined magical abilities, and who knows what could have happened during the 5 years. Remember, the blonde wasn't at all interested in seeing Hiro, and that could have been one of the reasons. But she wasn't psycho about it because it gave her man that rugged look that gets her so hot.

I don't give a skit about that. The best fantasy stories don't bend and alter the rules of their universe, or use improper logic/reasoning for a given character simply to move the plot along and get people out of or into jams.

Peter had his scar "a year and change" after the bomb, and I don't think that I would wanna help a guy that damn near cut my head off, so I don't think it was Hiro that gave him the scar.

Hiro could have thought that Peter was really Sylar morphed into Peter or someother misunderstanding that was later worked out, Peter seems like a rather forgivable type of guy, especially for Hiro. Or maybe someone stole the sword and gave that scar to him?

or maybe it wasn't a sword...could be shrapnel, could really be anything.....except a shaving cut.

Nope, has to be something special, can't be some random piece of shrapnel, otherwise it wouldn't be a scar.

Nope, at the point of Hiro's jump on the timeline, he had already acquired the power. It wasn't an alternate universe/parrallel dimension, it was a jump 5 years to the future.

He could have had Claire's healing powers. He just took the slice to the face when the Haitian was standing nearby.
No powers, no healing.

I thought of that too, but I couldn't figure out what would keep it from healing up once the Hatian was out of range, or for that matter, what kept him from dieing from the initial impact that left such scar? So far, when Peter or Clair get "killed", whenever the instument that killed them is removed, they heal perfectly.

I'll leave it as a possibility, but remote w/o more info.

Let's keep the ideas flowing, hopefully someone will come up with something that can't be dismissed, and then that's going to be one of the most likely scenerios.

Yeah, but it's not like the healing power has to work retroactively.

If the Haitian was present at the time that Peter got diced up, stayed with him during the initial healing time (Like they were left unconscious some where together), then maybe the wound wouldn't have been healed at all.

I think that would be one of those plotline stretches. ;-)

I'm going to have to watch it again to see if I can pick up any clues, I've got the DVR set for this Friday's re-airing.

I don't know if it's a stretch or not though. I can see a healing factor working to fix something after it happened, but not something that happened pre-power.

I still stick to the notion that if there were no healing power in effect due to the Hatian being around at the time that wound was inflicted, then he would have not survived the trauma that inflicted that wound.

who's starting to get tired of how lame everyone is becoming? People's reluctance/inability to commit any action is starting to make the show draaaaaaaaaawwww on. sylar should quit talking about killing people and just do it. what is peter doing anymore? consoling people?

Ok, if peter is starting to go nuclear, the choices are this: 1) Claire can shoot him anywhere, and it would either shock his system into stopping as it focuses on repair, or 2) peter can just fly like the wind and shoot up 3 miles and take off out of harms way in a second.

The characters reluctance to "take care of business" is part of their human development. They aren't killers, and have no experience with the cloak and dagger stuff, so this is what we get, frustration. The deal with Hiro is getting to be a bit annoying. I thought after he saw Sylar kill his own mom, that it would help trigger enough emotion to get the job done, but the writters obviously have another plan to take care of Sylar, and it must revolve around the new little girl.

i think it revolves around using this new girl to chase sylar around for another season.

Before she was cured, I was thinking that's exactly how they were going to kill sylar. Who knows, maybe it's still on the table. I mean, that's pretty sick you know, offering up a sweet little innocent girl for the slaughter, but it would definitely be a defining moment for the show, and I'm not entirely oppossed to it, if for nothing else to witness the reaction from public (in real life, not the show).

But now that she is cured.....ugh......well at least they can find Sylar, right?

Sylar stole Telekinesis from the guy that he called behind Mohinder's father. Remember how he saw the name Sylar on a watch and told a guy that was his name? That was the man he killed and took the telekinesis from.

Sylar's power has to do with seeing how "things work" and being able to replicate/copy/assimilate that into himself.

Ya, maybe that's why he feels he needs to take all these powers (besides the fact that he's insane)...because he needs to make himself work better.....maybe....I could be stretching it....in fact....I probably am.

Then there's the prequel/spinoff, Heroes: Origins, which will air during the original's winter hiatus.

During Origins' six-episode run, fans will have the chance to vote online for their favorite new hero, who will then be added to the cast of the main series. At last week's Comic-Con, Kring announced that comic book-lovin' Clerks director Kevin Smith will write and direct an episode of Origins.


The show's creator and executive producer also noted that several new villains are in the works, one of whom may be the "Boogeyman" haunting the dreams of little Molly Walker last season

im getting it for my birthday. yah hoo!

i just recently watched the last episodes. loved it can't wait to watch season 2 and i will stay on top of this time.

I'll have to wait to get the HD version of the Heroes DVD, unless I get HD and regular.

definitely worth 50 dollars for all the extras on it. I highly recommend buying this dvd set if you are into the show or want to be. I'm kind of glad they didn't go with a terrorist sub plot though, after watching the pilot episode. Also during the pilot i noticed they had it split into two chapters, and it split right around 35 minutes. Anyone else think that this may have been intended to be a 30 minute show every week? And also the mini painting's the collectors edition came with are sweet.

HOPEFULLY it doesnt go south like subsequent seasons of Lost. I really hope it continues to be an awesome series, I don't want to have to wait until 24 to start watching TV again

i just got into this show once it came on DVD. I missed the first episode and when it comes to a TV series if i don't catch the first epidode i don't watch it until I can catch up.

I was really amazed at how well this show is. I'm only on disc 4 of the DVD set and setup my DVR to record first episode of season 2 once i've caught myself up on season 1.
