Look what i just bought!
So i decided to take a dive and buy the magnaflow cat-back as it is, as far as i know, the only true cat-back available for the box. Opinions on the exhaust for those that have it. Sound, install, how's the tip look(no rust or anything). Also anyone know if the install is any different for an 06?

my friend has one.. looks really nice, perfect fitment...just sounds way too ricey for me..theres sound clips of it on magnaflows website..there a sound clip of it launching and also a drive by clip....04' - 06' is all the same so fitment shouldnt be any different
I like it. I picked one up dirt cheap for the wife's car. Some people think it sounds ricey, but it is not bad. Interior noise is very subtle. And outside it sounds about 100 times better than the much more expensive Tanabe cat-back that I have on my 2.2 liter Prelude.
In transit, will be seeing Tuesday. Pimpe ok, i have been waiting to get an exhaust for my xb since day one. I always thought their were good things said here about it, but one person says "rice" and they run and hide. I personally cannot be satisfied with a clip off the internet.
If anyone has a clip other than the magnaflow website please upload.

whats up alex.. man, all this talk of rice is making me hungry lol. so what does rice sound like anyways? is it ooooo, or eeeeeep, or vrooom vrooom? no clue.
anyways, magnaflow are known to have good quality products. at least you didnt get something off-brand. Anyways, I'm not going to be going to SanAn after all so hit me up if you need help with the install.

I have a magnaflow muffler. I just went to a muffler shop and they gave me the muffler and did custom catback piping. The muffler and tip are stainless, but the piping isn't. When I first had it done I did it without the silencer. It was way too loud without it, so I went back and had one put on. I love the sound I get now. It's deep from the beginning and not at all ricey. Best of all it only cost me $150. I also have Magnaflow cat and muffler on my fullsize 94 chevy truck. Now that sounds amazing! Magnaflow is great... you'll love it!
I've got the magna flow system, install is not hard, except for the hangers they can be a pain in the a$$. After a year I put a diferent resonator on to deepen the sound. I like the sound with the new resonator much better.
Tips fpr install, get an exhaust pipe cutter (you can rent them at Auto Zone), and silicone spray for the hangers. Should take you about 1/2 hr. to 45min. if you are mechanically inclinded.
Any questions let me know
Peace!

^ Thanks Chris,
Your box rocks WAY hard!
OK Guys, exhaust is in, unfortunately due to lack of time before work and the $120 to buy jackstands and put the deposit down for the pipe cutter, I had the exhaust installed
for me.
IT ROCKS!
I personally fell in love in .02 seconds after turning it on for the first time. It sounds COMPLETELY different from the clip on the website (i said i didn't trust).
Its the deepest exhaust ive heard and it fit perfect(of course).
Performance wise, after feeling the intake's added low end, i can feel it dropped again. I haven't taken it to fast but i dont know if it was my foot itchin to get on it or the exhaust but i could feel it pulling at about 3100rpms. What i did feel felt good. It feels as though the power is there if i need it. Not like it did before where it was like if i have to i guess it could.
ALTHOUGH there is one thing........................ITS HELLA LOUD!!!
O and Chris, my next project... two words...E-DEAD!
