I've been looking into getting a pair of the VRD fog lights. I've picked up just about everything I think I need to get them installed from the previous posts, but I've still got a couple questions. If I mod them to be on with the parking lights will they still be operable with the low beams? Also, can fog lights be run with the high beams on?

fog lights are normally wired to only be on when the low beams are on and will turn off when the high beams are on.

modifying it the way you mentioned will have the fog lights turn on when the parking lights are on...

and the parking lights stay on even if the lows are on... and the highs are on.

 

or use circuit logic and have them do whatever you want!!

 

how to install after market fog light ??

 

I have a 06 tc with vrd fogs, and when I lock my car my lows and my fogs turn on, and then turn off within 20 seconds, it looks pretty cool

will the fogs turn on still if I wire it to the parking lights

yeah but their wire to the oem fog light harness which only turns on and off with the low beams

 

i did not get the oem fog lights. im buying some aftermarket ones. is the wiring easy? (dont mean to thread jack)

 

haha yeah im thinkin bout to install myself a aftermarket fog.
can i just buy it and install ? or need some tool or items ... ??
