Default Energy Suspension polyurethane bushing kit on the way!

Hello fellow TC owners!! I just thought that you would all like to know that Energy Suspenion is currently devolping a master bushing kit for the Scion TC. I know this for a fact since they have my 2006 RS 2.0 TC there and using it to R&D the parts as we speak. I can't wait to get it back!

Default what bushings can be replaced?

Everything from rer control ars to front control arms, sway bar bushinfs, sway bar endlink bushings, motor mounts...that's just to name a few. Get rid of all thoughs rubber inserts and switching to polyurethane makes a big difference... we just got my buddies XB back from energy Suspension about a week ago and it handles like a go cart! you move the steering wheel and car goes right away...Don't get me wrong..I love theese products...but keep in mind they are not for everybody..if you like the cushy ride..then don't switch anyting cause it firms it up a god amount. But if you are like me and like a firmer ride and are into driving hard..then by all means this is someting you should do.

Default Got some news

Ok m car will for sure be ready thursday night..so I will be picking it up Friday morning. I forgot that we have spherical end links so that is not a part to be repaced. The front lower control arm bushings rear control arm busings, front and rear sway bar bushings will all be replaced. As for noise yes I ould imagine thre to be a litle more noise..but if you lube everything up very nice it should be kept to a minimum. the Xb that we sent over there does make a little bit of noise..but you can't even hear it if the radio is on, and the handling is crisper. the kits should be ready for sale by early March and as for pricing look at what a kit for the corolla costs. That's everything for now. I have an appointmet with one of the sales reps to discus further details.

Default Just got my ride back!

Ok peeps here are picsof the bushings they put on my car!

This is a pic of the front control arm bushing.. they replaced both but could only get a pic of one.

this is a pic of the rear control arm bushing

Front sway bar bushings

Rear sway bar bushings

Front tie rod end

Rear tie rod end

I was unable to get thecar myself so I didn't meet the sales peeps about pricing. But like I said, the kits should be out in Early March.

Ride is awsome...and no there is not even a hint of noise coming from these babies..they were lubed up pretty good.

Hope you enjoy the pics!!

Does anyone else have this bushing kit and also have the motor and trans mount bushings? I am wondering how much improvement this will provide a stock suspension since I have not gotten around to getting springs, shocks, and sways yet. Obviously this is a supporting mod but is is still a good place to start.

I know the kit is out, so I was looking for another review since it can be one of the easier mods for better handling. And it is relatively cheap. I actually knew this was here when it first was posted ... didn't know it was actually a year ago though.

I think the Jackson-Dawson NASA tC is running parts of the kit, well it looks that way from the Energy Suspension web site but I haven't seen anything else about it.
