So I was a little hesitant to buy these at first, since I couldn't find a install write-up around anywhere, and didnt know if I could figure it ut myself.

But when these came, they came with about 5 pages of printed instructions with nice big color photos specifically for the xB telling me exactly what to do, and it was a very easy project. Made me hate rivets though. So the reason you can't find a write-up for these on scionlife is because one isnt needed

Is there any downside or issues to install dual kit onto a tC? or is that even possible? thanks.

NRG has a dual kit and we actually just worked with them at SEMA to begin carrying their products. They come available in a polish damper or a carbon fiber design damper. We just added them to the site about 6 days ago and they have been selling extremely well!

1) - as long as the products aren't near edge of hood, then no problem since thats where they install

2) - both are great products and sell extremely well. Redline has 4yr warranty against defect and NRG I believe is 1 year but I would have to confirm.

i try to get the Tein one, but they don't have it for TC. for other cars, they all have 2 damper, that makes me worry about this single damper setup.
the stock TC hood is fairly heavy...

Redline Tuning hood lift for the tC is actually our most popular hood damper sold. We had had zero issues with the fact that it is only on one side. Everyone has been please. Another option is NRG. Although we don't sell as many, they do sell fairly well for the tC and are also available in carbon fiber or polish shock bodies. They also are 2 dampers.
